Steelseries 6GV2 w/ cherry blacks. I came from an A4Tech X7-G600 w/ membrane keys and the change was significant enough for me not to come back to membrane keys again. I love the tactile feel of the mech and the keyboards was supposedly built like a tank I'm expecting to keep it 5years+. Why cherry black then? I just look it up the net see what fits most for gaming. I only tested cherry blues and I find it too clicky for on my ears.

Been using the Corsair K70 for a couple months now. Has Cherry MX red switches. It took me a bit to get use to the response and the clicking noise. I really enjoy it now though after gaming with it for a while.

this keyboard was 35 dollars and it's barely been 1.5 years. it's a Microsoft ComforrtCurve 3000. I had an apevia POS before this and like 5 keys stopped working. it was free with my last pc parts. LOL.

Microsoft doesn't make keyboards like they used to. Now some people say the sidewinder gaming ones are awesome, however they discontinued them for no good reason.

Like why Microsoft???

Those good ol white wavey ergo boards from MS were really good I used to have one till my lil brother freakin broke it.

nope, the layout i have is the one with the percentage simbol on the the number 5 and no AltGR, I would need to buy new keycaps to have that and i would still miss a couple of keys, but it's not a big deal since i use this pc mostly for gaming

Sounds like 104-key US/American, so even with key caps it still wouldn't work right.

Used mx blacks, mx reds, mx brown and mx blue based keyboards. So far, settled down with mx browns since they fit my need (tactile whilst not being loud, and soft to the touch.).

Modded it with double shot keycaps. Never looked back:

Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 USB wired.
I bought 2 of them on sale.
Hey, they were $19.00 US. I really had no clue as to what they were, never owned a MS KB.
But that is a crazy low price for such a nice quality keyboard.
It is hard to get used to it though.
But for a membrane board the feel and response is superb. Better than any other I have used to date, including Logitech and a few other brands. Never tried a mechanical board, they may be a lot better, dunno.
These things are ugly as hell (or very different looking), but they work great.
Now if I can just get over the 3" high hump in the middle...lol what the heck was the reasoning behind that? Ergonomics....not in my opinion.
Also, the wrist wrest is extremely comfortable and padded nicely. But these things are strange the way they come assembled. The Spacebar end of the kb is HIGHER than the opposite side.

Yea, crazy. SO I removed the spacer and now they sit normal.
I can game with it no problem now, typing is another thing. Need more time to learn it.

I used Benq A800 when I played Rainbow Six Raven Shield, actually a cheap keyboard with mid height membrane keys.
I never felt I needed anything better but 99% of cheap keyboards had a lockup when you pressed 3 buttons at once near WSAD, this benq owned because it allowed more.
I frequently pressed more than 3 buttons (peek+run+reload+strafe+forward/backwards) at once without any lockups.
Also this keyboard was hard to kill, sure it felt used up but never locked up or anything. I think it was because of mechanism construcion - it was different X shaped.
Very underestimated keyboard IMHO.

That looks curved in a better direction than mine... I can't get that Microsoft was trying to do with this shape. After 2 weeks, I am still not used to it.

logitech k200. best keyboard ever. the first time came across, i got it for a build as it was cheap as a combo... but i fell in love with it so much i used it myself. soft keys, not that loud, and definitely not hard on the hands. i liked this so much that i just typed crap all day that day.

oh and even after 2 years of heavy gaming... its still pretty good.
