Definitely, its important to gather as a group, you can cover a lot more, take on more zombies (and get more phat lewt). And raiding other people's bases pretty much requires more than 1 person if you intend to take them on.

I just was chased by a damn group of like 5 guys lol. I see one guy trying to get the same resource as I do..then all of a sudden 4 other shirtless dudes come charging down a hill at me. Wtf lol.

Did you catch any of their names?

There are a couple newish groups that are raiding and killing but they can be avoided depending on what part of the map you settle on.

You could settle down by me and erocker. That wont stop them from screwing with you but at least when we are on you'll have backup. There are some good guys playing on the server and some bad seeds too.

It was in the place where you had "enemies" circled on the map, so middle-ish. There's only one house near there though and it's closer to the buildlings. French Valley-ish. The one I initially saw was emery_, didn't catch the other names as I was too busy getting the fuck out of there. They only had hatchets it seemed, and as soon as I took my bow out the last one that was following me seemed to fizzle off. I've already started building a (temporary) wooden house not too far from the road right near zombie hill. But I will be making metal as soon as I find the rest of the pieces.

yeah the middle section is a hot spot for pvp. Lots a guys in that spot killing each other and crying about it.

Since this isn't a sleep server make sure you take anything important when you log out. They like to raid when we are working.

And next time I'm on and if you need to research anything let me know. I have most items now.

Except that explosive blueprint! Gonna keep an eye out for the Bat!

SGT something and BumbleBee are enemies, they'll attempt to kill people, but they tried and failed a few times, and we ended up completely annihilating them.

I got one of the raiders. All headshots. Then ChooChoo and I had a stand off. He killed me in my base. He only took a MP5 from me. The same MP5 I took from him when I killed him as a new-ish spawn. Good guy!

Fuck choochoo. Killed me coming out of my house for no reason (Oh, his 'partner' shot at me). I'm gonna kill him when I see him. Luckily I was smart enough to duck and go into my house and shut the door before I hit the ground so they couldn't get my shit.

2 guys raided my house. Built stairs, went in the window I hadn't put a door on yet, and got my shit I had started to move in because I was basically finished. I knew it was a risk where I put the house and how I did it but that's such bullshit that someone can just do that and take all of your stuff. Don't remember the name of the guy who killed me but I believe their houses are two in the mountains with a drawbridge outside of one of the rad towns. I had all the stuff to start crafting C4s too. Luckily I had my 3 explosives on me and they left me all the sulfur and charcoal like geniuses. I'm going to raid them tonight. Only problem is I don't have any ammo and the only gun I have is a P250..can craft an M4 but gonna need to gather ammo. Sigh. Some stuff in this game pisses me off. A good raid where you blow doors down and take people's shit, whatever, happens. But that's just being cheap as shit IMO and shouldn't be allowed in the game. You shouldn't be able to build on other player structures or within maybe 2 blocks for instance.

*FPCG|Super Stache is a cool dude. Traded me a shotgun + all attachments + 50 ammo for explosives (I gave him 3).

SGT and Bumblebee had a house in the hills, and were in the process of building a second across the valley when we raided them. I might jump back on the TPU server for a little bit during my spare time, depends on whether I hit any rubber banding. Not to mention I've lost all my crap now xD

Rust looks good at 1440p. Wasn't expecting that.
When I get in (hopefully this weekend, if i'm not doing an engine swap) it'd be cool to check it out. Maybe bunk there until I can build my own shelter, if that's possible. It seems like the windows up on the top floors would make perfect sniping roosts.

Yep. I've been told to do walls however..usually they take 2, but I was setting some last night and the second charge set below me somehow and messed me up. As for the server, I haven't had any issue with rubberbanding, but I seem to be the person to attack on there. It also seems to run smoother than a lot of servers I've been on for me. And contrary to popular belief!, I've not done anything mean spirited really.

As for the houses in the hills, those guys were actually friendlies...there is 3 houses total, 2 in a camp and another by itself. One is phreaksomething and Spirit's, both of them are together. Then the other guy I mentioned earlier *FPCG|Super Stache has a place there. They are all cool and we're all actually looking for choochoo. I am also against Lancer Pants apparently, as I guess he's the one who raided me even though I let him live when he was getting a drop. I think those are the houses I'm trying to take down now..guess we'll see.

Hey guys, where in the US is the server located? East coast or west coast? Also, what ISP is it running on?

I'm just asking since I'm in the Philippines and my ISP (PLDT) usually favors West Coast servers for lower ping.

Meh all the valleys looks the same! Never bothered doing walls, there's just something exciting when you place C4 charges on someones door and then listen to them run into a corner of their house and spray bullets at the door, shortly followed by 5 men infiltrating the room like SWAT and emptying shotgun rounds into anything that looks killable.

The best part is the chat afterwards, you constantly hear them bitching about why you raided them. Little do they know that it was your house they raided the night before, and this is merely sweet revenge.

The server is based out of Los Angeles, California. (about an hour from my home)
The server provider: FPSplayers

I was in my metal tower last night when all of a sudden I see in chat: Alex: "Anyone live in this metal building?" followed immediately by C4 exploding. I'm up in my tower and about ready to rush down and kill him when he realizes its my base. In voice chat he proceeds to say how sorry he is over and over. lol It was funny and since it was a mistake I left him alone.
You need a lot more than 1 C4 if you are going to raid my base.
If you build your base right it will be so costly to raid that its not worth it. Right now the biggest weakness for any base are the windows.
I just can't wait for the bars for windows feature to be implemented.
Hey do you guys think day time should be longer? It seems like as soon as dawn appears and I try to run somewhere I always have to camp out in the wild due to the day ending so quickly.

I'm updating the server this morning with RUST++
If anyone has any issues or finds something broken please let me know. RUST++ gives all the players a few cool features such as:
Player Commands:
/help (Shows commands)
/pm "playername" "message" (private messages a player. MUST BE USED IN QUOTES)
/history (Shows chat history, last 6 messages by default)
/players (Shows online players)
/location (Shows the coordinates of the player)
/ping (shows latency between client and server)
/starter (gives a configurable starter kit)
In about 1 hour these player commands will be available. these are all typed in the chat window and /player is like gold. I mean its so nice to be able to see whos playing at any given time.
