Hello, just signed up to this forum since it seems like the folk here know their stuff (unlike some other forum I won't mention).
I bricked my HD 7850 reference GPU because I was trying to flash the BIOS of my R9 280X which had undergone a failed BIOS flash. I resolved the issue with the R9 280X but unfortunately I bricked my HD 7850 with a R9 280X BIOS because even though it was in GPU slot 0, while I flashed GPU slot 1, somehow the PC I was using to flash the cards seems like it is opposite of my normal PC which has the top card as 0 and the bottom as 1, this one seems like the top was 1 and the bottom was 0?
To get to the point, my HD 7850 cannot even be flashed anymore because it is not even being recognized at all by the PC. It claims to be a "Standard VGA Adapter", and every time I try to flash it with the HD 7850 BIOS it says "Device not recognized".
If you can help I would be very grateful. Thank you.
