No not every motherboard can handle a overcooked cpu. Other factors are important. First of all the chipset and motherboard need to support it. In Intel's case z87 and x79 chipsets support overclocking. In amd case most desktop chipsets support overclocking.
But after that bios also has to support it..... if the bios does not include overclocking settings or features your motherboard will not support overclocking.
Last...your you should buy a board with appropriate overclocking features.... vrm heatsink... and high end components will make the motherboard last longer while overclocked as well make your job overclocking easier.

Oops one more thing... the cpu also needs to support overclocking. In Intel's case "k"series cups only. In amd's case most will work but unlocked multiplier cpus are better

Hope this helps

Thanks a lot for your answer!!!
So I am not worried anymore because I have the 3770k + Asus V formula
Would be possible to push a 3770k to 4.7 or maybe 5.0?

Yep..you should have nothing to worry about.... both your cpu and motherboard supports overclocking. Just make sure you read (don't skim) a good tutorial before you start if you are just learning.
I have owned both the motherboard and cpu you just referenced and I can tell you from experience a 4.4 to 5 gig of should not be a problem if you have a good chip and good cooling

Nice WC setup look forward to seeing the build. Make your fans have a decent static pressure. Every black ice rad I have ever used needed it. Make sure you post pics good luck

my motherboard keeps mine under cooked lol

on topic, I would say you could cool your setup no problem with just the 480 rad and it would help keep flow rates higher, more flow= better more consistent temps.
that cooling will easilly cool that haswell. sorry if you already posted but what is the rest of the setup gonna gonna be

What are you aiming for?

Questions about those Core Temp readings: the one on the left is from before water cooling your system? or idle or load state?
could you add a CPU-Z prtscreen? Lets see about the voltages and other clocks (dram).

Both pics were taken when the water
Cooling was running, the one pic with low temp was in idle and the one with high temp was taken after one day running prime95, tonight when I will be at home I'll post a
CPU -Z prtscreen
