Yeah, it's dual chip Titan Black, aka, entry level compute card. Having checked the keynote it's meant for physics simulations and compute people. Not aimed at gamers - it wouldn't show it's true potential in that arena.

Oh, it's true, made sure to have pic with Jen Hsun so if it turns out to be something else, there will be this to reference.
As to the "high" price, locally, Titan Black is $1150. Multiply that by two, add in that GPUs must be screened extremely tight, added cost to the bill of materials, etc....
$2999 seems...well...fair?
I feel odd saying that, honestly... but I mean...who really needs more than just a normal GTX780? Extravagance SHOULD have a cost.

No doubt, the Titan cards kinda fill the gap between the consumer orientated GeForce cards and their much more expensive Tesla range. Compared to a Tesla K20X it's good value.
No doubt a GTX 790 will be much cheaper, but still expensive.

Considering the success of the original TITAN, you can't blame NVIDIA for taking things in this direction. You just can't.
I have dual 780Ti, and 780, and had a TITAN and TITAN BLACK to play with last week. I can't help but thinking NVIDIA is simply doing the right thing.

Not 3, max I would think it can do is quad sli so just 2 cards. That's how its always been with dual gpu cards.Can this be SLI'ed? I can see someone buying 3x of these to do 4k gaming.
