Web browsers

I am looking for a new web browser. I will not use FireFox 29. IMO the interface is ugly and hard to use.
Same goes for Google Chrome any version.

My question is what browsers are out there besides these two? For what ever reason I am only finding browsers that were discontinued 5+ years ago.

Off-Topic read with a bag of salt.
Yes I hate Windows 8 that much. In fact I would rather use Windows 3.1 over Windows 8.

Thats not a lot of options. I would only suggest Internet Explorer or Opera. If you are looking for simplicity then IE I guess, but Opera seems like they are making their browser look more like Chrome or the new Firefox.

My cousin is a lead programmer at Firefox, he says things have not been going so great the last few months. Lots of mothballed projects. Sad to see their budget phone project die, I actually held the first and last Firefox mobile phone running Firefox phone OS. I also recently uninstalled Firefox after the new update that makes it look like Chrome.

Funny, I just started using Firefox at work this week and I'm liking it. It certainly is faster than IE. I do agree somewhat about the interface, but it's not that bad in my opinion (subject to change lol)

Anything is faster than IE! I wouldn't say the UI change is bad at all, but I don't understand why it had to change. There was at least a little brand differentiation between Chrome and Firefox, now there is very little.
Speeding things up a little is always welcome, but the general UI of any browser doesn't make much difference. I understand freshening up your logo is of importance, but meh. Maybe I'm just bitter and holding on like I did with Windows 7.

I just switched to Chrome with Adblocker Plus and havent looked back.

Though I dont follow the rest when they say IE is a a bad browser. My friend just mentioned Adblocker, and ive used it before on Firefox years ago, but it messed up a lot of web pages. Chrome and Adblocker is great.

If you want something a little different... you can try Maxthon browser.
They have the new cloud browser or you can use one of the other versions (2,3, or classic).

And, they have a lot going on in their community(forum).

And, if you want one really different, try the Torch Browser.

Me, I use IE, mostly; and, Maxthon as a second choice.
And, playing with Torch(beta).

Firefox is great, but before this I used Opera. I wouldn't suggest Internet explorer it had a bug that hackers could use but it has been fixed since but still.
