Here in Europe you couldn't get anything even close to what you've listed for that price. It's more than worth it!

A bit, depending on what you're playing. On avarage the 660Ti is about 30% faster than your old GPU.

That CPU and motherboard would probably be a bit more than €200 now. Early summer, computers are impossible to sell. It's almost insane actually, I can get a Sandy Bridge and upwards i3/i5 system for less than €250. Laptops with first generation i3/i5's in them is about the same, and we're talking Elitebooks and high end Thinkpads here.

And I'm completely broke, as usual.

Well 440$ for that setup sounds great. But than again it sounds too good to be true. I don't know never bought anything from craigslist before.

Well if you are going to get the PC in person, you should be able to at least inspect it seeing you said you were willing to drive (you might be able to see it running too). I'd definitely take a chance with it if I was looking for a build like that. In fact I'd be tempted to get that to replace my PC at work.

Interesting to hear about prices/demand changing so much when it goes to Summer over there for you guys. Here prices drop off a tiny, tiny bit mid November and rise quickly (perhaps more than it was before the small drop) in time for Christmas. Then it generally goes a bit all over the place in January and is pretty much back to normal in Feb. I'm only talking <10% changes but for high-price items it can make a difference.

I've bought several pieces of hardware from CL, and have never had a issue with any of it. My i7 860 system was put together using mostly CL parts, I have $300 in that system, and have had it for 2 years. I've bought RAM, CPUs, video cards, motherboards, never an issue. Just make sure to test everything before handing any money over, and you should be good.
