Payment: PayPal
Shipping: US48 only, USPS Priorty Mail Flat Rate with insurance

Trades: 7970 waterblock

Please ask any questions. Thanks for looking!

I am selling a used PowerColor 6870x2 video card. It was used for 6 months to mine Bitcoins. Temperatures were kept under 70C, but the card itself is heavy and the PCB has a noticeable droop. I have tested this card and it works fine for games at 1080p. Its performance at 1080p is similar to a single 7970.

Comes with original box and accessories:
2x PCIe 6-pin to 8-pin power adapters,
Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort adapter,
Crossfire cable,
DVI to VGA adapter.

Asking price: $130 $110 shipped Sold

Can't tell if heat pipes are discolored from heat/age damage or just how they normally look.

I don't really know. Sorry for the bad quality pics.
It's okay. My camera takes really nice pictures, but only if you're a statue.

It just looks like there is heat damage on the pipes. I'm probably wrong.

That's a rather cool card. (Cool cool, not temperature cool, I mean.) Probably uses about the same wattage as the 7970 too.

If I didn't have too many GPUs already, I'd be tempted just for how relatively unique the card is.

Using the 6870 X2 is also the only way to run 3-way CFX with 6870 GPUs, if anyone cares about that little tidbit since the 6870s and 6870 X2 only has 1 CFX connector.

Thats how the heatpipes should look.

The photo on the PowerColor website shows pipes that look like clean copper, so I would say the pipes in this card are showing signs of heat (although not excessive) and oxidation from age.. Not surprising, the OP has been honest about 6 months of mining, that would test most cards.

I was going to post a link to the product page for anyone concerned about it, but not sure if that is appropriate in someone else's sale thread. Anyone can find it :)

My 6850's pipes look the same andvthem cards have had a gravy life. Used for gaming and a very short stint crunching. The discoloration is just the copper aging and not from heat. Glws and i am thinking of picking this thing up for myself
