Origin Game Time: Titanfall free for 48 hours!

Origin is kind of doing the same thing as Steam. They have put up Titanfall for free this weekend. You can play for 48 hours without restrictions. Full game. It is 50 gigs of game to download!

From what I understand is; it will play for 48 hours once you hit the "play" button. So a person can download today and wait for a couple of days before you start playing.

I am downloading it now. Have looked at this game several times but now it is free for a couple of days so worth checking out if some of you don't have it.

EDIT:
Just noticed in Origin description...

The 48 timer starts counting down when you first start the actual game. You can download it for one month if you have slow connection, but you'll get 48 hours of playtime then. After which it will expire.

As much as I dislike origin, they aren't as bad as ubisoft and it's a good idea. Pirates already have access to the game and most titles don't have demos nowadays. I'm going to pass, but then, I'm on on a 4mbit connection that runs at 3mbit.

The Game Time clock won't begin until you’ve launched the fully-downloaded game for the very first time. Start your download whenever you want – downloading Titanfall won't count towards your 48 hours of free time.

It's also available for 50% off right now... I really wanted to get into this game, watched gameplay on Twitch lots, and it provided quite a few hours of entertainment, but I simply don't have enough time to invest in gaming to play this title right now.

I own this game.... I purchased it on day one... It was good and I was interested in playing it some more but there is very very limited content and maps. Not to mention that about 3 months after launch they removed CTF and another game mode I can't remember. I am just done with AAA titles lately in the shooter realm..... they are either buggy as hell and you are a paying beta tester.... think BF3 and BF4...... and then when they remove content that you paid for up front just to either A. never put it back in or B. promise it but deliver it in DLC which you have to pay additional funds...... I am sorry but this game had alot of promise and it tanked very very hard. Long gone are the days of a FPS or any AAA game coming with all the content on day one and then a legitimate expansion for $20-$30 about a year later..... and not the mention back then alot of developers supported their mod community and content was plentiful.... They all just want to rake in as much cash as possible and will screw their customers over to get it....

The only EA game I might pick up will be Dragon Age: Inquisition.... but seeing how they did the second Dragon Age and how EA has been doing things... I don't have high hopes for it....

I did manage to get them to refund my BF4 season pass and my copy of BF4 after several hours on the phone with them, so eh maybe it is a good direction to take.

I don't understand how companies claim we are pirates, but constantly do promotions like this to win over buyers. I personally haven't pirated a game since I was yay high. I was young and didn't know any better. Didn't have a decent job either.

I wanna thank Origin for saving me 10EUR. Tried it. From the technical point of view, good looking game, plays well. but...content-wise, feels like a demo, can't choose the map to play, etc...everything feels too limited, no thanks I'll pass
