What do you need one for? since there are fully unlocked BIOSes available on the internet and the stock BIOS is pretty good when it comes to over voltage options.

it might also be a matter of preference as far as I know the P3 bios does not have dynamic voltage control.

That's the point of the PT3. It's not supposed to have dynamic voltage control.

Yeah but then PT1 or the default BIOS should work fine. You can run +200mv on the stock BIOS on most cards. PT1 just lets you run +500mv

Room temperature is 2c higher then all other tests
Why I stress so much on using ArctiClean is because look at how it turns the paste.
It turns it into a wet bag of shit
To get perfect results use this stuff. It's $5 bucks at FrozenPC for the 2 part solution.
Isoprop Alcohol dont do near as good of a job of cleaning.

Theoretically it should work just fine given that the BIOS supports your VRAM. The good thing with R9 290X cards is that you have the BIOS switch so if you screw up you can recover pretty easily.

(but can act as a backup to reflash)also don't forget to save your original bios before attempting the modification

Not true in all cases, XFX DD as in mine both are clocked the same 1050.
