Are there any games that you guys would recommend for my PC or my Xbox 360?

I'm looking into the RPG genre this time since I have many (FPS) Shooters that are occupying me right now (Gears of War, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Halo 2, CS:S, DoD:S, Call of Duty 2/3)

I was thinking about getting Jade Empire for the PC, since it looked like a really good RPG.

Guild Wars came into my mind to, but I wanted to replay the 1st one before I get Factions or Nightfall.

Any other recommendations would be nice.

Well of course there is Oblivion, and the expansion for it just came out, Shivering Isles. You can get that for PC or Xbox 360 - it looks better on PC if you have a nice computer. If you want some old school, try Baldur's Gate 2 for the PC, that's from 1998 though, although it's really fun. Neverwinter Nights and Neverwinter Nights 2 are great games, though. Jade Empire is an xbox game ported to PC, but I'd imagine the storyline is decent, since it is Bioware.

Jade empire is a fairly sweet game, but I would recommend Knights of the Old republic over it. Don't get me wrong, it was solid on Xbox, but I never really got into the story too much.

Fable and jade empires are nice games (only if you havent played them on the xbox)...

GTA:SA is kinda like a rpg and has over 120hours of gameplay, and a fantastic long story line.

I was thinking about getting GTA:SA. I had it for the PS2 and Xbox, but I lost both and I want it again for the PC this time though, it was a really long game. I might actually pick it up since it's only ~$20.

If you want to give another MMORPG a go, HIGHLY recommend Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar.

Good points:

1) excellent graphics that scale very well for a mid-end PC.

2) if you like Tolkien, it's a no-brainer

3) borrowed/improved on some of the best aspects from WoW

4) i find myself actually reading the quest storyline, instead of just skipping to the end for the goal/reward info

5) all the expansions are supposed to be free

Not so good points:

1) $15/month subscription

2) interface is awkward for some things

3) that's about all I can think of...

Excellent suggestions. Ninety nine knights for the 360 is an awesome game. Thats about it for RPGs on the 360 that I currently know about, unless you want final Fantasy XI online. For the PC, try Heroes of Might and Magic 5 and its expansion. Warcraft 3 and its expansion Company of Heroes (RTS really) Stronghold2 and Silverfall. Titan Quest is an awesome game with kick ass graphics. So is that one Midway game with Cleopatra, Caesar and them others.

I have a Rent 1 Get 1 Free at Hollywood Video, so I might try out N3 and GRAW 2 as well...I also heard that Enchanted Arms is a pretty decent game, may try that out as well.

I forgot I had Company of Heroes, I might start playing that again.

I have Gears of War...really great game, but online is nothing compared to Rainbow Six: Vegas and Halo 2. Great game, but too easy. I beat it on Casual, Hardcore, and Insane at least 3 times each. The online 4v4 just doesn't cut it, way too repetitive and I still don't know why people play it online. Maybe if they had more modes and at least some 6v6.

It was easy for me. The only reason I played Casual was to help some friends out beat it for their Achievement points but alone I started out on Hardcore. Great game and the graphics are amazing, don't get me wrong. I just wish there was..."more" to it, especially the online like I've said a bit earlier.

Still the best game on the Xbox 360 IMO, but could definitely be improved upon. But that's what sequels are for, improvements on the previous. Maybe some 8v8 like Halo 2 and Vegas, CTF. What really helps the online is Co-op. Just pure amazing, made for Co-op. I just can't keep playing the same three modes, Assassination, Warzone, and Execution.

I dunno, maybe it's because of my x1800XT and stuff like F.E.A.R, but the graphics aren't all THAT impressive. It may be too that I am running it on a non HDTV due to not having the HD cord yet. It's comparable to resident evil 4 IMO, which still has amazing graphics.

Currently I am trying to lure the berzerker out and it's a real PITA.

I'm playing on a 50" Samsung DLP with 1080p, and I have the HD Cables and 7.1 Surround Sound by Polk Audio and Klipsch Floorstanding Speakers/Subs, so the whole experience is amazing for me. I tried running on 480i and 480p on my HDTV, and it was nothing compared to 1080i (my HDTV upconverts anything to 1080p). Amazing experience for me, but too quick.

When did you get your Xbox 360? Wasn't it just recently?

Yesterday. Picked it up used and got gears of war with it. As soon as I compile some more cash, I will get the HD cables and play it on my 52" RCA in 1080I. Currently playing on a 21" quasar 480I TV, lol.

If you are talking about hd cables for the 360 the only thing better and only option besides the the components is the VGA cable and it is analog vga and not much better than the components. If you want the 360 to upscale DVD's then get the VGA otherwise it is a waste of money. I wanted to get an elite but I am still debating if it worth it. For 200 dollars to upgrade to the 120gb hd I'd rather sell my 360 and get an elite (hdmi). Oblivion is good too. Forza will destroy GThd and mass effect looks cool. I dunno about the other games though. I am more into FPS's. Enjoy the 360, it is nice and looks good in 1080p.
