A friend of me have played this game since alpha and it's the only game she plays. I just don't get it 50k battles and still going. I got 10k battles and that's about I could do before i lost interest

I am sure you can check my stats, there are plenty of sites out there, I am on the EU server and my user name is Tatty_1, I don't have a team/clan as that adds restrictions/responsibilities that I don't want..... I don't hold much for stats, some give a fairly accurate picture but many are linked to team performance and what 14 other people do in a battle are rarely within my control but I think my WN8 rating is around 1,250 and set as above average but the important thing for me is to have fun as I said, I suppose I could temper that and be a little more serious at times to improve my stats but then I would have less fun, you can usually tell in game who those that concentrate on just stats are, often they tend to be the ones that are insulting an opposing player after they have killed him

I just got back in the game after 1+ year off. Gawd I'm awful.

Anyone has thoughts on the french TD line? I started it but I am wondering if I should wait until I get back some of my mojo before pursuing it...

Meanwhile I am also grinding the german TD line. Currently in fully upgraded Hetzer and having a blast regardless of my current mediocrity.

Heh my longest break was 18 months and I'm back since December.
But now I'm just fooling around without any goals so I have some fun with my friends or alone.

Back in time Foch was one of my favorite TD's but this was 2 years or so so I don't know how it's now. Foch 155 not on my taste but YMMV.

Now I want T95. I don't have any TD researched in US line (T30 and E4 were a kind of bonus from WG) so I'm taking the Jumbo route to Jackson.
Boy I have great times derping around in Jumbo.

I also fail to see why this games grinds my 780ti down to mostly 70fps... I mean, it is a pretty game, but it ain't no Star Citizen either.

...but it is so much fun. I'm trying to get my friends back into it but no dice so far. Damn you Steam.

break is good, got to live life right, but i would suggest keeping an eye on the events page , every friday they show new details, sometimes these crazy x5 weekends or holidays come up & you can get to next tier much faster, or get prem day for logging in, right now you get 50k silver when first time logging in every new day (until may9)

LOL I have no idea how WG sounds are because I always use mods. Before break I was with Gnomefather's sounds now I'm with Kriegstrieber (or something like that) sounds. For voice Duke forever.
In fact long time ago I was a mod maniac, using JSGME and installing/modifying each mod by myself. Now after come back I'm using Solo's modpack and choosing what I like from it.

I use the WG sounds but then on "local" settings, so that the voice-overs are depending on the nationality of the crew. BTW, the US crews have the "standard" voices, but the Brits have their own (word choice and accent). Especially the French, Japanese and German ones are very vivid.

high ping leads to fps drop. this comes from the way game is made

@ne6togadno, I was not aware of the ping/fps relationship. Thanks for the info.

My ping latency hovers between 15ms-35ms. I did not think this qualified as a high ping latency. Maybe if the 35ms was sustained, but this is more of a peak latency than anything else. I'll try to correlate this more than my general impression of things...

usually ping varies a lot during match so if you had 15-35ms at start doesnt mean that it stay all the time at that rate. also some times i have seen even 50ms ping red-dotted too.
some of the mods (or some features of the mods) cause fps drop as well (features of xvm like hp bars, view range circles, 500m square etc.). i use modpack from pro-tanki (it is very similar to solo's). in their installer they have marks for mods and features that cause fps drops so you can decide what you need and what you can skip.
bad thing is that fps drop from different mods stacks and at the end you may have miserable 25-30 fps despite high end vga you have.

Once you make it to the Foch it gets decent. The Foch 155 is nice but the both have bad accuracy and talks about nerfing the Foch 155 is still going on.

back when they was adding jpz e100 i logged on test server to try it. in one of the matches someone has brought is (or is2 cant remember). jpz's 299mm average pen gun boused from is' frontal..... almost felt of chair laughing
2 day ago with my gw tiger had match vs 263 (open top td which in teory has to be prone to he shells). direct hit at the side (102mm pen 2k average dmg) causeed ~400dmg. WTF?!?! every direct hit on my wt e100 from arty with >~1800 avg. dmg is insta dead but fuckin 263 gets direct hit for ~400.....
i can live with retarded 0dmg crits, pl&ru "players" and shitty mm but biased devs make me

My god - learn the game mechanics

Shooting HE at tracks and spaced armor never yielded great results. Furthermore the 263 has 80mm side armor, factor in +/- 25% random BS generator and a few degrees deviation from 90° impact angle and you know why you didnt penetrate.

And comparing the 263 with the WTF100 (20/10/8 mm) when it comes to HE is plain stupid.
