Today Logitech revealed its biggest brand transformation in its history. Building on its heritage as a technology company, Logitech has placed design at its core. It is crafting a portfolio of products that go beyond PC peripherals, to products that have a place in every aspect of your daily life. This brand reflects the company's reinvention, with a colorful new attitude and a re-imagined logo. You'll even see a new label for our latest product categories: Logi.

Since 2013, Logitech has been working behind the scenes on reinventing the company, shaking things up culturally and through its product innovation. Its latest products are an outward expression of these changes, and moving forward Logitech is also bringing new life to its brand identity. Expect bold colors and simple designs to make their mark across Logitech.com, social media, on packaging and in-store displays over the coming year.

"We've been reinventing Logitech, creating products that strive to blend advanced technology and design to bring you amazing experiences," said Bracken Darrell, Logitech president and CEO. "We've built a world-class design team, led by chief designer Alastair Curtis. We're putting Design at the center of everything we do. Our approach to Design goes beyond the classic definition. Design to us is the combination of advanced technology, business strategy and consumer insights. Our products have come a long way, and now it's time to bring the brand forward too."

As part of the brand reinvention you will begin to see the name Logi on select products in existing categories, and expect some twists and a few surprises in new categories.

"Logitech has undergone huge changes, so we've created an identity that is an expression of who we are today and who we will be moving forward," said Alastair Curtis, chief design officer at Logitech.

"A company transformation of this magnitude should come with an equally bold transformation of its brand."

Feh. I don't see how that is going to change the quality of their products.

Their product quality is crap at best, after sales service is a scam. its best to avoid this brand like a plague no matter what part of world one lives in. I am eagerly waiting for this craptastic brand announce bankruptcy.

Speak for yourself as we have not all had a bad time with logitech, infact they was rather happy to send me a new mouse free of charge even though i could not privide proof of perchase for the G500 that failed.

How long ago was that? Logitech's quality in both hardware and customer service has not just taken a dive, but literally fell off the chart from my point of view. I avoid them like a plague now and no amount of rebranding is going to change that.

Last year was when they replaced my mouse no questions asked, all they wanted was a pic of everything i had and then sent me a new G500s.

They also offered me a 75% discount on a range of products if i used to offer in 30 days but there was nothing i wanted.

I got a free replacement G5v2 do to a faulty left click on my G5v1. My missus still uses the G5v2 now without problems 6 years later.

I bought a G502 a few months ago after using a few different brands, never felt more comfortable.

Ive never had problems with Logitch Products, and i'm using them for over 10 Years.

I've got a G15, an MX1000, a few gamepads and a Z-5500 and none of them have stood the test of time. Not meaning to rain on your parade, mind you. All I'm saying is, some users haven't been as lucky as you have been so far.

I don't know about the quality of other products by Logicrap, but their mouse division is the worst. ALL the Logitech mouses I have ever had crapped in less than 1 year. Buttons problem, coil whine, or self corrupting firmware, etc; I will never ever buy another mouse from them. And all my friends are saying the same, the Logitech mouses have the WORST build quality from any brand in the market. Even worst than those 10$ chinese craps.

I can't wait to see what are they going to offer. I really hope they squeeze in an affordable Unifying receiver compatible keyboard. Because right now their proposition in that price-level isn't that compelling. And some new wireless mice to replace M705 as a "budget" workhorse. Because MX Master costs a hefty amount IMO. To be fair I am pretty happy with M705, especially for Photoshop. That thumb button is just spot on for zooming while doing something else.

Failed to mention my friends have had issues, too. Like that Z906 that has broken down due to a failed capacitor...

Sorry to hear they never honored the RMA that is out of order on their part and if it were me i would not have given up.

Wow, for every guy like you, there's probably a hundred others that have had great products and great reliability and service. I have yet to have one bad Logitech product, from keyboards to speakers to excellent mice. My mice have always been and still are tanks. I've not had one die on me yet.

I have used various Logitech products in the past -

Mouse: G7, G9, G500, G502
K & M sets: MX3000, LX300
Keyboards: illuminated
Joysticks: Xtreme 3D Pro
Headsets: Precision Gaming Headset (Discontinued)
Speakers: Z-5500
Years Owned: 10years+

G7 mouse is still alive - but the battery packs are junk.
G9 mouse was sold to a fellow TPU member
G500 mouse- I actually had two of these, I spilt tea on one of them and just straight up replaced it with another G500 which is still working
G502 mouse- my current mouse, Still working obviously
LX300 K&M set- Decent budget K&M set, Upgraded to the MX3000 after a few years usage
LX3000 K&M set- Great K&M set i think the mouse is an MX600 - absolutely loved it, Im not too sure if i still have it around somewhere but i think i sold it.
illuminated keyboard - One of the best keyboards i have used, Its compact, it lights up and even though they are scissor switches, they have low travel distance which meant i was typing like a boss
Xtreme 3D Pro Joystick - Bought for primarily for BF2 back in the day. the Joystick itself production wise is a lot older than BF2 - its been around for a long time and mine still works though I havent really taken it out for ages.
Precision Gaming Headset - Also used for BF2 and CoD but the cable to the right earpeice snapped inside and i just had to replace the whole thing. was a decent headset white it lasted.
Z-5500 Speakers - Still my current set of speakers probably since 2008 or '09 - one of the LEDs on the control pod has died but it still lights up enough for me to see the display, everything still works

Unless you count the G500 that took a swim in some tea - Everything logitech that ive ever owned has always worked and carried on working unless otherwise. Snapping the cable inside a headset isnt the same as just waking up one morning and finding out the headset, keyboard, mouse, speakers whatever no longer works for no reason whatsoever.

I dont know about Logitech support - Ive never had a real reason to contact them myself but I know that they make solid products and if youre breaking yours constantly then maybe you should be less rough with them.

Last year, I requested an RMA of my MX518, tech support approved it, customer service said no, I was out a $60 mouse and had I not bought it through Amazon, I would have never got my money back. Logitech screwed me over and that was the last straw.

Come on dude, you consider yourself "out" of money spent on a mouse that hasn't been produced in over 6 years?!

Just bring back the G9 mouse and make a new G9 Wireless mouse

This used to be my main gaming mouse for a while, this thing is still going strong on my 2nd rig with absolutely 0 issues. Loved the mouse, upgraded to a g600 because i needed more thumb buttons

Their product quality is crap at best, after sales service is a scam. its best to avoid this brand like a plague no matter what part of world one lives in. I am eagerly waiting for this craptastic brand announce bankruptcy.

How long ago was that? Logitech's quality in both hardware and customer service has not just taken a dive, but literally fell off the chart from my point of view. I avoid them like a plague now and no amount of rebranding is going to change that.

After sales has been the best for me to the point in saving me money as they tend to not ask you to ship it back. I have had 2 of their lower end mouses fail on me and both times they sent me a replacement without requiring me to pay any postage.

Wow, for every guy like you, there's probably a hundred others that have had great products and great reliability and service. I have yet to have one bad Logitech product, from keyboards to speakers to excellent mice. My mice have always been and still are tanks. I've not had one die on me yet.

To early to judge my G700s but i run it in game mode and at 1000 polling rate and the battery lasts about 18 hours and i never turn the thing of which i probably should lol, And a nice powered hub for over night charging means the battery don't run out. I have 2 Duracell battery's on standby and never needed them lol.

To early to say if it's lasting yet but another 3 months it would of lasted longer than one of my razer mouses lol. And if it makes a year OMW that would of been longer than 3 Razer mouses and 2 Steelseries mouses but we will have to see hehe.

Build quality does seem to lack some on the G700s which i believe they could improve how ever nothing failed on it yet and works very well wireless even in 1st person games just takes time getting used to it as it is heavy at 1st even more so of you been using mouses that i been using in the last.

My first logitech mouse was with their oldest logo, the square one. I believe it was one of the Pilot series. I had a few Pilot mice, 2 MX700, G7 and currently G700s and M705. Never had any problems with them, each one lasted at least 5-6 years. My only complaint is about the drivers for G700s, it's a piece of crap.
