NZXT makes digital fan control easy with the new GRID+ V2. Welcome to the future of digital fan control. The new GRID+ combines a modern interface and a streamlined installation to ensure a simple, unintrusive solution for fan control. Now with improved software and support for individual fan control, GRID+ V2 offers complete control at a click of the mouse.

The GRID+ V2 is a software-controlled fan controller with 6 individually controlled channels and up to 30 watts total output, allowing users to control each fan channel independently. With the option to name each channel, users will be able to immediately identify faulty fans via the included free CAM software's smart notifications.

With silence and performance oriented fan control profiles that automatically adjust fan speeds based on CPU temperature, CAM makes it easier than ever to take control of your airflow. Advanced users will be able to create multiple custom fan profiles and manually adjust fan speeds to suit their own performance needs.

Following in the footsteps of the original GRID fan hub, the GRID+ is designed to be installed internally in any discreet location, eliminating the need for a 5.25" slot and making cable management a breeze. The GRID+ V2 is available now for $29.99.

Features
  • CAM Software Enabled
  • 6 Individually Controlled Fan Channels
  • Supports both 3-pin and 4-pin PWM fans*
  • Up To 30W Total Output
  • Discreet Installation
  • Voltage and Short Circuit Protection
  • 2 Included Fan Extension Cables

So instead of using the fan headers on your motherboard you just plug them into this, nice!
Is their anything else like this? Will the software be fantastic or a headache? I'm quite interested!

This fan controller is also using the same CAM Software that first came out with their AIOs. Have a look at this review for the CAM software.

For $30 bukcs I hope it holds some significant time. I wouldn't mind power from SATA connector instead of a molex one.

Can you base the fan speed on the GPU's temp?
Yes you can.
I have the v1 of this and bought it just weeks ago

You can set your fan curves based on GPU or CPU but if you have SLI I think it takes the average temp. not 100% sure on that.

Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
aawwww i bought the GRID+ (v1 i think bahahaah) Thursday (received friday) and now they announce the V2? awwww

well it seems that my GRID+ is considered as a V2 after CAM reinstall ... "yay?"
asd.jpg

so the only difference is: pwm compatible and all channel independent ? (not a biggie so ..)
30$ ... YESH more like 48.15$ for me :D (the V1 )

For $30 bukcs I hope it holds some significant time. I wouldn't mind power from SATA connector instead of a molex one.
i use a SATA to MOLEX adapter ... so i don't have to take out a molex modular cable for my M12II

and for the "hold some significant time" well all V1 review states the build quality is quite good... so i think it will hold quite some time

So instead of using the fan headers on your motherboard you just plug them into this, nice!
Is their anything else like this? Will the software be fantastic or a headache? I'm quite interested!
quite easy for me (on the V1)
cam_081415_1.jpg cam_081415_7.jpg

and
Can you base the fan speed on the GPU's temp?
aye
cam_081515_1.jpg

This fan controller is also using the same CAM Software that first came out with their AIOs. Have a look at this review for the CAM software.

tho CAM as evolved in-between, totally does not look like the one they used for the review or the one on the back of my V1 box or the one in the video as it's the 2.0 and the actual is 2.1.5

after some search, most user are disapointed by the CAM software :D (well for me it works ... mostly)
but this is interesting
