Supreme Commander

Anyone been playing Supreme Commander lately? I have had it since almost release and am getting back into it after a little hiatus. I only have the Cybran campaign to beat now. Just wondering if anyone wants to play online competitively or co-operatively. I usually don't play RTS's online because honestly I'm not that stellar at them. Still, I enjoy this game a lot and can beat the AI on Supreme AI setting.

The single player campaign is not that bad. It can be a little pesky when you turn the difficulty on hard. I got beat a few times on hard when I got careless. My only complaint about the game in general is that the missions take about two hours on average for me to beat and the tough requirements for the game. I can only comfortably play a 20 x 20 map without too much lag. How about you guys?

I'd play mine but it came as a bundle with my 8800gts and without a cdkey (I called Newegg and they said to take up the issue with the game manufacturer but I'm too lazy to do that

)

That game would probably own my system anyways...

That game would probably own my system anyways...

I play on 1280 x 1024 on medium settings and I get playable fps on all campaign maps minus the last one. I think your system would handle it a lot better than mine.

na man your system will own that game, you should OC your cpu a bit maybe though, its more cpu dependent than graphics.. you got some of the best of both parts and if you got 2 gigs your set.

I just tried the demo version myself.

I still have my doubts though... but I'll take your word for it and call the manufacturer to get my cdkey in a couple of days or so

I'm playing, I love it!

Going up the ladder quick now that I'm playing more often.. I was kicking some serious rear until I didn't play for like 3 weeks, then everyone even the noobs got up around 200 games, and I have to compete with them with my 12 games.. lol

Almost 2000 points now though

bump - because this game is awesome, and is partially pwning my PC. Damn I think you NEED a Core 2 to let this game run free when using > 6 players. When I do I regularly go below the 25fps comfortable zone.
