That voltage seems to be waaay too high for the frequency, that's what I use for a 4.5 GHz overclock. and yes, those temperatures are high for a cooler like that, I had both the same cooler and the CPU. Set both voltage and frequency manually in the BIOS.

max temps are like 83?
so no throtling, no overheat, everything seems fine there, maybe little bit high for the cooler you have, but it might be something related on your cooling, maybe working on a better airflow?
also lower the voltage... as others said... try to O.C. with lower voltages,

Also he said it was just 16 degrees C outside, so it's not summer where he lives.
Therefore his CPU runs too hot especially since it's watercooled, the temps should be lower IMO.

may vary from the AIO he is using, maybe because of the settings on corsair link, so values are unknown at this moment.

All the voltages etc. are stock. I haven't changed anything unless a program did that for me without me knowing.

If something is wrong, do you think I should restore my PC?

You can get into the BIOS and stick the voltage manually, say, to 1.2, and that will prevent it from spiking too high.

could be a great start since it will control your AIO and you can manage fan settings and temps... could also improve your temps,

All the voltages etc. are stock. I haven't changed anything unless a program did that for me without me knowing.

check all the programs installed, also the Bios to see if everything its correct

I wouldn't know what to look for in the BIOS, but I will have a look. Some people are thinking I have an issue with my PC and I think they are right. I have also not been able to play any type of game for a long time now. They will load up but when I get into the game there is a really annoying stutter that occurs. I have just had my CPU and GPU replaced so it most likely could be my MOBO and/or something to do with my BIOS.

My games are installed on a separate hard drive to my OS, but that wouldnt be the root cause as I used to be able to play games. Something has happened but I dont know what it is. This feels like a wild-goose chase.

Like I said, I can get into a game fine such as BF4 but I get this obvious stuttering, this issue is supported by the fact that there is a low FPS icon that appears on the right of the screen showing that the game is experiencing issues. Even on the lowest preset this still occurs

Yes I have done this before. I have realised though that since my last message I checked my BIOS revision and its over 2 years out of date so I am going to update my BIOS and see what happens.

I have done that and reset my BIOS settings to default. No change.

I honestly do not know what to do. Nothing is changing and its really annoying me, and that is putting it bluntly.

in the first screen of hwinfo you said you did not overclock but your processor should be running at 3,3 normal + 3,6ghz turbo but yours is running 4,0ghz.
did you auto overclock or something?
i have sabertooth x99 and i need a small fan over the vrm´s so they dont get to hot.

Wow, I didn't even notice it was running at 4Ghz. This is really damn strange. Like I said, everything is stock so it SHOULDN'T be running at such a high frequency.

I suppose that would explain the high temps, but how to fix it, I do not know...

I am determined to fix this.

So...I think my mobo has some sort of auto-overclock feature which I can't see anywhere on how to disable it.

When I enter the BIOS and Load Optimised Defaults then navigate to Ai Tweaker the settings are what I need as shown by the picture with the 3.6Ghz CPU Turbo Max which is what I need.
However when I save & exit and then return to the BIOS after my PC restarts and go the Ai Tweaker again it seems my option has been overwritten by the mobo and everything goes back to what it was before.

its better to get live help by someone that could help you there and also explain ... so thats why you must ask on a computer repair shop, they might help otherwise be as much careful as possible cause bios values, settings and al things are pretty important and need pro attendance,

look in your 0066 pic(ok its in both pics) there is a feature called asus multicore enhancement. it should not be enabled but i think it is??
put it on disabled and with hitting the F10 button save with yes out of bios
but with watercooling even this should not get you that high temps.

It seems the Windows Anniversary Update has fixed all my issues....My bios time has gone from 1300 seconds to 23 seconds so you could say I am happy. But this moment is bittersweet, since I still do not / may never know what was causing the issue.

I may have fiddled with a setting that the update rectified which is good I suppose.

Thanks for all your help!
