Elder Scroll VI, is there even a rumor about it? because from what i've gathered, ESO will be the last (since it's a persistent univers )... o_O and TESV is an undying perfection (that the fanbase and mod community made it perfect ... not Bethesda anyway, that goes on the double for the future "special edition", since the only thing it bring, that was not already made by modders, is 64bit exec, which is quite welcome ... if i might say.)

When asked about TES 6 during an interview with Geoff Keighley during the YouTube Live at E3 stream, Bethesda’s chief game creator Todd Howard revealed that “it’s good in these moments to tell our fans, ‘Yes, of course we are [making The Elder Scrolls 6]. It’s something we love.’ But it is–you know, I have to be careful what I say–it’s a very long way off.”

interesting... i thought Skyrim was the pinnacle (again thanks to the modder ... ) i enjoyed pretty much all ES, genuinely more the III IV and VI nonetheless, except ESO...

i wonder what will they give for TESVI (ps: you ruined the page... the important part of my post is the second part ;) i care less for the next elder scroll than the experiment :p next time quote the whole post so those who only read latest post would be able to see more :D (joking ;) ))

AGAIN! (776hrs on it nonetheless)

but i could do a nice little test before my install went wonky (all script, quest/event/location on save, keep being reset and if i start a new game Alduin bug :D that's by far my best "crash" in skyrim  )
View attachment 79239 View attachment 79240

as you can see "mod it until it crashes" is my moto for my title screen :D

All I've seen is rumors for now and I can't go on almost all game sites at work to read what the latest is.

iirc Skyrim has sold around 20 million copies. I imagine Bethesda can come up with something for ES VI with that kind of money on the table to scoop up. Kind of like Bioware coming up with a new Mass Effect series even though it looked like it was over for Mass Effect after the third one.

Q: What does this mod do?

A: It adds over one hundred new NPC:s with unique appearences to the Vanilla levelled lists for added racial diversity while staying lore friendly. Stats, levels, items, abilities, spawning, etc is entirely handled by Vanilla mechanisms, which ensures great compatibility with mods that for example tweak combat stats, or add and change clothing and weapons.

Q: Does this mod change outfits, weapons, armor, or ANYTHING from Vanilla except Level Lists?

A: Orc Legionnaires get Heavy Armor. Otherwise, there's no changes at all. My screenshots feature items from Immersive Armors, Wet & Cold, Cloaks of Skyrim, Enhanced Stormcloak Variety, and many others. ENB is Truevision.

Q: Will I see Orc Legionnaires and Khajiit Vampires everywhere?

A: No, I've made sure to keep ratios lore friendly to ensure that races that should be rare are rare.

"

Sometimes I feel like I'm slashing and shooting my way through the same enemies all the time. Almost every Vampire is an Elf, is J'zargo really the only magically gifted Kitty in Skyrim, and what happened to that Dark Elf on his way to Solitude to join up with the Legion?

Why are there no Orcs in the Imperial Legion, despite the in-game lore saying they're so highly valued as soldiers that the Orcish race is gaining acceptance in Skyrim and throughout the Empire thanks to their service?

Why are the only Vampires in the game Nords, Bretons, Dark Elves and High Elves? Surely Redguards, Khajiit, and other races are also susceptible to contracting Vampirism?

My mod seeks to add things like these which I feel are missing from the game, while still keeping it as lore friendly as possible. You won't find Khajiit Legionnaires or High Elf Hunters, all Master Vampires are still male while all their foot soldiers are exclusively female (damn Vampire patriarchy!).
When I've added new races, for example an Orc and an Argonian Hunter, I've also added new Nord and Wood Elf NPC:s to keep racial distribution faithful to the lore so that every other Hunter you find won't be an Orc or Argonian one. Those races are still rare in Skyrim, although they fit well as Hunters.

Yeah, but I'm in London now :D
All I have here is a lousy PS3, but I don't want to ruin my Skyrim experience by playing it on the ps3. I played FONV and it was terrible...

So, ressing an old thread because I want to make sure to catch everyone who subscribed to this thread. New underwater mod for Skyrim, looks amazing....

Depths of Skyrim

basic blurb about it
What is this mod?

This mod aims to overhaul the flora, fauna and visuals under water. I always found Skyrim’s underwater environments to be rather monotone and empty, so here is my attempt at solving that issue.

Important: this mod requires iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=7 or above (e;g. iMaxGrassGrassTypesPerTexure:15) to be in your Skyrim.ini file, otherwise this mod will NOT work.

Features:

Adds new grass types, coral and giant kelp all across the Sea of Ghosts.
Adds 1000+ fish all over the sea (no slaughterfish).
Adds Several dozen unmarked treasures and points of interest for you to find.
Adds coral forests teeming with life.
Adds groups of horkers swimming across the sea.
Fixes 100+ instances of exposed rocks
Fixes seams in the ocean floor

Installation:

1.Download the RAR file
2.Open it
3.Drag all of its contents to your data folder (usually Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data)
4.Make sure the file is checked in the Skyrim plugin list (it should be by default, this is just an additional step)
5. Launch your game and enjoy your revitalised Oceans!

Q&A:

Q: Is this compatible with X water mod?
A: Yes.

Q:Will this enhance oceans from other mods as well?
A: In most cases, yes, though there will be no new fish or giant kelp. (When the mod uses proprietary sea floor LandTextures the changes this mod makes will not apply)

Q: Sometimes my underwater grass disappears depending on the angle at which I am looking at?
A: This is an engine issue which also occurs with the default kelp and other mods like Skyrim Flora Overhaul’s Lupin. Until we get the Source code to the Creation Engine there is nothing we can do about that. The giant kelp were hand placed as to avoid that issue with those.

Q: Will this affect my performance?
A: Yes, but the change should be negligible. I recorded a framedrop of 0-1. So if you had 80 fps you will now get 79-80 frames per second.

Q: Does this mod use scripts?
A: No, this mod is script-free.

Q:Does this mod add Dragonborn Waves to my shore?
A: No, for compatibility reasons I have decided not to implement those. They come with Realistic Water Two and can be downloaded separately here.

Q: Does this mod add anything above sea level?
A: A few small things, though nothing which would interfere with other mods.

Q: Can suggest X feature?
A: Absolutely! Feel free to share your ideas in the posts section.

Nice. I plan to play Skyrim for one last hurrah, but it might be some time. Some of these late stage mods are turning out to be the best of the bunch (as far as ideas go).

Yeah, I haven't revisited for years now, and I'm looking forward to it. There are so many seriously huge mods that look so amazing to add to the already massive amount of material. Here's a couple I had forgotten about...
Lordbound
Carved Brink
And then there's the Beyond Skyrim Projects...

Sooo are they on the same level as Vanilla Skyrim (ie "Meh") or are they actually decent? I tried Skyrim again with some mods and well they're never really worth it. That goes for all mods for all games btw.

For the record I played Skyrim for a bunch of hours a bunch of years back and I didn't actively dislike it. Compared to FO4 it's a masterpiece of writing, which says alot of both games.

I just picked it up again the other day. I've messed with Beyond Skyrim some, that carved brink business is new to me tho. Might have to go waste some more time.

Has anyone played thru Enderal yet?

Benchmark Scores it sucks even more less now ;)
I tried Enderal and it was quite buggy at the time so unless they've patched the shit out of it it's probably not worth the hassle I was having alot of CTD's and graphical glitches
