SLI doesnt add up the frame buffers, so with 8600GT SLI youre stuck with 256mb.

Well if thats the way you feel you must feel a 7900gt is crappy or a 7900gs or x1950 pro 256 is crappy. Because This card is on par with them and they are not crappy at all but are only directx 9. Also who buys a motherboard for graphics cards, and not everyone has a giant amount of money laying around. A single one of these cards will play any game out at moderate to high resolution why are you being so negative. If you have vista and need a good budget direct x 10 single card soultion this is a good one. Then later these cards will drop below 100.00 and you add a second one and could sli them. IRA your age is show with your comments. These cards in sli will hit 10000 in 3dmark06 and give you 512mb of ddr3.
