Edge gets one vote, lol. Another fine piece of garbage from Microslop
It's actually works really well and is very fast. It just doesn't suit my preferences. IE is too deeply ingrained in my brain after almost 2 decades of use. So much so that I can't use any other browser without wishing it was more like IE. But I can tell you that if they were to take IE away for good, Edge would be my first choice as a replacement. It's pretty much superior to IE in every way. I'd just have to take some time to adjust to it. In fact I've been noticing lately that the more I do use it, and become familiar with it, the less good reasons I have to use anything else. IOW I wouldn't be too surprised if I make the switch from IE to Edge some time in the near future...and never look back. Especially given the fact the IE just doesn't work right with more and more sites as time goes on. And I've yet to find a site that Edge doesn't work 100% with.

BTW @TheMailMan78 strongly disagrees with you.

I used to use Cyberfox, but its author announced on March 7 that he no longer had the time to continue development. After that I switched to Waterfox, an optimized, 64-bit version of Firefox.

I also use SRWare Iron, a Chromium-based browser minus Chrome's pervasive Google nosiness.

FF here, occasionally use Chrome when I want play play with HTML5 as FF's performance is much worse there for some reason (basic Phaser even).

I was a diehard IE user until v8 was released, which ran like a dog and crashed all the time. I switched to Mozilla Application Suite, and from there I went to Firefox. Had a brief stint with SeaMonkey, because it's the spiritual successor to MAS, but certain things didn't work the way I wanted them to so I went back to FF.

I just can't bring myself to use another browser aside from Firefox on a day-to-day basis. And aside from the occasional & annoying technical difficulties that seem to plague Firefox to varying degrees of seriousness....I love it. My biggest beef with Firefox currently is the issue with YouTube and not turning off annotations that many users including myself are experiencing.

Chrome user here. Mostly because of the clean UI and extension support. Plus it works the best on my mobile devices while being able to sync up to my desktop.

I'm surprised Vivaldi isn't on the list...

+1 Yea probably one of the better up and coming browsers. If I wasn't using Chrome, there's a good chance I'd be using Vivaldi. :)

Would Add Konqueror but...

I used Konqueror (KHTML) as my browser for quite some time years ago and Rekonq (QtWebKit) afterwards. Sadly, both are mostly dead and I'm back to Firefox. Will probably stay on it until they discontinue it. I'm patiently waiting for Servo, I hope it will be great.

Fun fact: The KHTML layout engine which is used by Konqueror was developed by the KDE project (1998) and later adopted by Apple for their Safari browser (2002). The fork was called WebKit and was forked again in 2013 by Google for their Chrome browser (Blink).

Opera. Because it's the only browser that only requires 3 extensions for full operation and my needs. All others need 20 extensions for every trivial god damn thing. Like stopping it from closing a whole god damn browser just because you close the last tab. It's insane.

I just don't get it why is Firefox THE ONLY browser that syncs search engines (or more specifically, keywords). It simply stores them in bookmarks and syncs them along. So, no matter what computer you're using, all search engines are always there. Chrome has no fucking concept of this, neither does Opera. Why not, I have no frigging clue. Because of keywords, I haven't used dedicated search field for more than a decade now I think. It has become so ingrained in my browser use that at work I subconsciously type "g" or "d" in front of search word in URL bar in Internet Explorer and nothing happens lol. I'm surprised people don't use this more. It's one of the most flexible things ever. Single letter, space and search word. g = Google, d = Dictionary.com, y= youtube.com, p = pornhub.com :D No clicking or selecting, it all becomes a single search string which also defines what search engine to use. And it can all be configurable. I use Y for Youtube, you can use it for Yahoo for example. I love this feature.

Try DuckDuckGo and it might fulfill your need without the need for sync. They use bangs: !g for Google, !yt for Youtube, !w for wikipedia, !m for maps, etc.
