What about them do you love so much?

Good to hear AMD is having some solid driver releases! I honestly haven't been rushing out to upgrade my NV or AMD GPU drivers these days. But I may give these a try at some point...though I have older AMD GPU's now...not sure they'll benefit as much. I guess there's only one way to find out. :D

Vega only support.

Fiji HBM overclocking still crippled, SteamVR Async Reprojection support still lacking. Nah, not interested.

Also have they fixed Crossfire support for Vega yet?

just all the fixes, more to come too!

Overclocking is fixed plus other non mentioned things. Oh and about an extra 4fps in every game I've tested so far ;)

i had more unstable Nv driver than AMD driver .... during these last years (6850/7870/7950/R9 290 versus 460/570/580/770/980/1070), never had to rollback a catalyst (well i remember 1 driver that had a major issue but well ... that was 1 and after i switched from the 290 to the 980), actual result i am still using the 376.53 for my 1070 since i.e.: i got OC instability for the 980, artifacting for some other and game instability for the 1070 with the 3 latest releases ...

Vega only support
actually fullinfusion has a RX480 and a RX580 listed in sys specs ... soooo if it was "Vega only" that would be weird ... eh

I saw that with the new driver on Vega 64 the clock frequency in idle/desktop mode is not stuck at 852MHz anymore.
It went below 100MHz.
Can somebody else also confirm this?

I just noticed a bug in the 17.8.2 drivers on the Vega 64.
My computer becomes unresponsive when I open Youtube videos or any other website where a Video is play when using Edge browser.

As a work arround, I found that I have to enable "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering" under Internet Options-->Advanced-->Accelerated graphics section

Does anybody else who owns a Vega 64 and has windows 10 experience this problem under Edge browser?

This started happening after upgrading to 17.8.2.

There are bugs that are years old now and which people have been complaining about for a LONG time. Are you allowed to say whether there's any work being done on that sort of stuff?

Sure, we're working on all sort's of bugs with old, and new systems along with older and also the latest gpu's ;)

I believe fixes are going to be more frequent now with having AMD out source all the extra help with all the different systems. Makes sense huh :)

All issues should be filled out and submitted on the AMD problem page. That's what's nice about AMD opening up to the Vanguard program as we all have different hardware and we always try to replicate the issues that's been submitted.

So that's all I can really say on what's what.

Thanks a lot for the testing. It pointed me to look for problem somewhere else than the AMD GPU driver.
I was able to fix the issue after resetting back the Edge browser as shown in this guide:
https://www.howtogeek.com/237527/how-to-reset-microsoft-edge-in-windows-10/

I have also only three weeks old Win 10 installation, but for some reason Edge got broken and I was able to fix it by resetting it to default settings.

I thought that it was the graphics drivers as the problem started on the same day when I updated to 17.8.2.

Not so hot!

I see a bad interference between wattman and Gigabyte's AGE - you cant set the OC speed in AGE and switching back to gaming speed the gpu collapse to 300MHZ being stuck there. Only way back to normal/default clocks is resetting wattman!

WTF?
