The BIOS switch in located at the opposite side to the PCI-E lane. What does it do?
I have seen Gamer Nexus review on that HBM controller influence in performance and it offered no notable performance whatsoever. It's just an AMD marketing trick.
However i will check superposition performance later on
The bios switch is a back up bios, also I believe the right position might be a lower power state but I say I'm not 100% sure till my Fluke clamp meter arrives tomorrow.
And don't believe what GN has to say, Honestly he even admitted he ran the test prior to the drivers that were just released while he was filming
HBCC isn't a gamic nor an AMD trick.. It actually works on a few benches but some drivers it's busted so I believe your driver that your using does work.
Just be sure to check if it's on and if it isn't then turn it on and hit apply.. If the screen doesn't blank out and the Crimson driver don't load back up then it didn't take.
Just do it again and it'll work. It's a bug and is being fixed..
Here's a benchmark of 3DMark comparison I ran today.
The left score is HBCC on and the left score HBCC is off
