AIM is dead, what to use third monitor for?

I have three monitors, all different sizes. My third monitor is used solely for AIM, but now AIM is being shut down in a few weeks I need to find something to do with it. I can't get rid of it, because I use it for my Windows 98 computer as well (it's the only suitable monitor I have). I no longer use Skype, only Discord, so I can't think of anything I have to move across to it. Anyone have suggestions for useful software I could run on this small (1280x1024) monitor 24/7?

if you have a CCTV at home you can set it to that so you can view it easily. you can also try and experiment with a program called rainmeter, allows you to customize it, like putting buttons, icons, controls, or even hardware monitor(temps, etc)

For example i have a rainmeter on desktop that shows my cpu,gpu usages, internet usage, allows me to easily switch between headset and speakers, volume control, date, time. Found a good skin online and tweaked it so it fits my needs

I have monitoring gadgets already on my second monitor, and they're so small that they'd take up less than 15% of the screen if I moved them to the empty monitor.

maybe you could use ICQ, or yahoo messenger, yahoo pager, etc.... or you could post to some message boards with that monitor or just........

i wonder if AOL will still honor this

I'm unsure if gaim, pidgin will be going offline but that could verywell still work since AIM is going offline in december

Everyone I want to talk to uses something else I already have, getting an alternative IM program would be of no use because I'd have nobody to talk to on it.
