0 GPU usage on metro exodus

I’ve recently bought metro exodus on epic games and I’ve noticed the game has been using my CPU but not my GPU, I’ve also downloaded the latest Nvidia driver

These are my specs
Dell AWAUR7-7883SLV-PUS Alienware Gaming PC Desktop Aurora R7 - 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700, 16GB DDR4 Memory, 256GB SSD + 2TB Hard Drive, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5, Windows 10 64-

Try updating graphics drivers? It's the driver that reports GPU loads to Windows.

I already have the latest driver for everything

Latest chipset driver, latest igp driver, set bios graphics priority to PEG.

Make sure monitor is hooked up to the gpu and not igp.

Open nvidia drivers and you need to find tab where you choose tab "manage 3D settings" then "program settings" pick your game and pick maximum performance.

The issue I was having is that every other game uses my GPU and CPU, while Metro Exodus only uses my CPU
I just changed the program setting in nvidia, because for some reason the global settings didn't apply to the game
