It has top build quality, nice looks, and the ability to support heavy and large users. All above sound nice, but is the noblechairs Hero Real Leather gaming chair worthy of its intimidating $720 price tag?

Quality control given price.. Hm.

Like, its not bad, but at that price I expect really flawless product. Kinda disappointing a bit.

Those screws are a bit WTF. But PU on armrest? Seriously?

Better go for an ergonomic chair, tbh. Maybe a review of one of those?

I still don't understand who buys these garbage chairs, regardless of brand that is.
These are like 30+ year old racing seats, they're not designed for comfort, but to hold you in the chair when you race.
I've never had a problem will falling out of my regular office chair when playing games on my PC, but maybe this is an issue some people have?
Do the people that buy these also install four-point harnesses on them?
I can think of several other chairs I would go for ahead of this things, even more so considering the price in this case.

Touche....ROFL :D :D

What bugs me with most high end chairs is that there is little to no evidence they actually provide any health benefit for averagely healthy man/woman. What I mean is from my little research and I've this before, so much softness makes the abdomen and diaphragm muscles to loosen, since they don't have to support the back any more. Long term consequences is that you worsen your posture. I am kinda fan of basic, wooden hard chairs, that make your body fight gravity and make your butt flat with pain after 2 hours of gaming, forcing you to get up and take a walk :)

The whole "gaming" oriented industry is money driven, just to sell some overpriced products, or things that nobody would buy for logical reasons, rather cause it "looks cool" and "gives You the l33t MLG feel".

Ikea Markus anyone? Comfy, well ventilated, and CHEAPER...

500 usd for a gaming chair.... either I have become poor or now understanding the value of money better after having kids and starting to pay own bills.

The arm rests are too low and it's not quite adjustable enough. Also the lumbar support sucks.
Järvfjället looks nicer, is nicer to sit in (based on my limited trial), but has even worse arm rests.
I don't think IKEA considers people that use mice for hours on an end when they design their chairs.
I have a Volmar which was their "high-end" office chair, but it too has the same issues with the arm rests being too low. They discontinued it though.
Not going to say it's the best chair I've ever had, but it's a decent computer/office chair.

I used to have the Markus but after 2 years it finally gave way. It's designed for the average person and I'm not (1.95m, 94kg). As
TheLostSwede said; the lumbar section wasn't in the right spot, the arm rests didn't move, and with my model the (fake) leather peeled off the headrest.

we asked for samples from several companies, no response so far.
Weird, it sounds like they are afraid.

I have the fabric one, so no problems with faux leather or anything... As for the armrests - they could be adjustable, but still - the whole thing's comfy (use it at work, so 8h-sitting everyday). :)

Ergohuman is quite famous chair. Definitely not cheap. :D

Also there is one very lightweight one (aircraft alu) with mesh which is supposedly pretty good (Vertagear makes them).

Both should be quite gaming/office human friendly.
