Does 1.76 VCore harmful for i7 4790

I buyed i7 4790 in 2018 and i have used so far. I am little bit worried. 1.76 VCore is really high but i didn't change VCore on motherboard. My temperatures are stable which is up to 65C max. If i use %100 load 1-2 hours, it is up to 70C.
System:
CPU: i7 4790
Motherboard: MSI H81M-P33
RAM: Kingston 2X8GB 1600MHZ
GPU: RTX 2060 Gigabyte OC
PSU: Xigmatek X-Calibre 600W

What do you think? What can i do?

Apparently, that is the input voltage to the FIVR. And yes, it is okay.

The other big part of the Haswell power story is what Intel is calling FIVR: Haswell’s Fully Integrated Voltage Regulator. Through a combination of on-die and on-package circuitry (mostly inductors on-package), Haswell assumes responsibility of distributing voltages to individual blocks and controllers (e.g. PCIe controller, memory controller, processor graphics, etc...). With FIVR, it’s easy to implement tons of voltage rails - which is why Intel doubled the number of internal voltage rails. With more independent voltage rails, there’s more fine grained control over the power delivered to various blocks of Haswell.

1.35V is max for 24/7 on overclocked system and you don't have oc at all so this cpu will fry fast with this voltage if it's accurate reading.

Edit:For FIVR voltage it's OK but cpu-z should display vcore voltage not FIVR.

The readout on cpu-z though matches the actual core voltage setting in BIOS. That’s how my 4790k is. Mine is set at 1.18 and that’s what CPU-z reads. My 4690k is at 1.20 and cpu-z also shows that as vcore.

Based on that, I would have to say his voltage listed is waaay high. Anandtech is talking about about a different aspect I believe. It never actually says they set core voltage that high in BIOS in that section on FIVR.

Read the overclocking section that follows and look at their CPU-z readouts. Core voltage matches what they say they input.

Yep, I'd have to agree. I'd use a few other programs like HWMonitor to confirm what the Vcore really is, because CPU-Z has always shown the VCore for me and not the FIVR Input.

I’m going with too high. That is also measuring your Vcore. Can you restart and look at Vcore setting in your bios?

Far as I can tell this is your CPU idling (temps but also VID voltages show that), so its obvious that you can soldier on like this and it sure as hell isn't the actual Vcore you run - also not in the HWInfo data.

You can also see that the value never changes, it remains at 1.760 idle and max. Maybe its a readout error. I doubt that value ever changes for you.

Something definitely doesn't look right there. It is possible that the motherboard is just reporting the CPU Input Voltage as the CPU VCORE. I would guess if the VCORE really was that high, you'd have insane overheating issues and the CPU wouldn't last very long. So, either way, I'd bet that reading is not right for the VCORE. It would be hard to tell exactly what it actually is reading, but the voltage seems close to what the stock CPU Input Voltage(A.K.A. FIVR Input), but I can't be sure that's really what it is reading. Here is how my 4690K reads, for reference.

Edit: Just saw the screenshot of the BIOS. That 1.76 is definitely the CPU Input Volate and not the VCORE then, that is what VCCIN. VCCIN, CPU Input Voltage, and FIVR Input are all the same thing. So you should be just fine.

I’m curious why HWMonitor and CPU-z for him are not able to read the actual Vcore and are substituting the FIVR.

Obviously his BIOS and the fact it hasn’t melted mean it is reading from an erroneous location and should be actually ok now.

@Ibotibo01 if your temps were really high then we’d have a problem. I should have noticed the temperature was fine.

Names and readings seem to be provided by the motherboard. That one value that should be around 1.75 Volts (not oc) is CPU VTT in my case.

AIDA64 for its part seems to have generic names assigned to whatever readings it gets.

I think that my motherboard doesn't show VCore. It shows VCCIN. CPU-Z and other programs show VCCIN for VCore

I would go into the motherboard monitoring section and it should display everything in there. If there is any doubt you could always reset the bios and if any alterations has been made, then this would get rid of them and put things back to their stock values

That voltage report is wrong. That CPU would be kaputt with such voltage. Try updating BIOS. Maybe MSI fixed this bug with latter versions: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/H81M-P33
