I don't know what mouse to get, I'm new to PC and have never played before, except as a mobile peasant.
I have a generic dell mouse with 800 dpi. It fits snug and is comfy, however the sensor sucks. If I move it to fast, it flicks to a random spot on the screen (If possible, could someone explain to me what this is and why it happens?)
On r/mousereview people have been hyped up for this mouse called the Model O, which is apparently a readily available and cheap high quality final mouse.

The cable is supposed to be like a paracord and the skates are good. Really thinking about it, but I'm not sure about the change from my moderately heavy dell mouse to a very light one.

I am 12 and do not have a ruler, my hands are about 6 or 7 inches.

My two youngest sons are using the Logitech G403 and G660
I don't know what're considered small hands, as someone told me I have big hands. I don't trust them though, since I have friends with bigger hands than me.
I searched the g660 up, but nothing came for it. The g403 on the other hand looks like the kind of mouse for me, I play claw. I like the shape, but I feel like the Model O would be better for me than those mice. I like ambidextrous mice, because when I claw, I use my thumb to grip hard on the mouse and my pinky and ring finger get attached to the side of the mouse and it feels really comfy for me.

Our review is coming very soon, just a few more days
I best wait then.

Depends on the size(shape) and budget you have. Personally i opt for logitech mice due to higher quality, at least for the mouse wheel. As i use mine for browsing and not only gaming, having a good scroll wheel is actually important to me. If that is not an issue for you and you use it lightly then any mice with good specs will suit you fine. I look at RocketJumpNinja top40 and pick one that seems most suited to my budget and shape preference. Currently using the g203 and its been flawless, with the exception the shape isn't perfect for my grip style, for that price i am happy though.

Also, while i suggested that list, you should search from elsewhere for reviews as well when you decide which one suit you the most, user reviews and potential issues it might have. At least this is the process i gone through to pick mine.

That model O looks pretty good, though i think the honeycomb on the top will just fill it with skin flakes, £50 in the UK is not bad either. I'm using a corsair scimitar, the lift off is very good, the pointer hardly moves if i lift it, iirc it has a pretty good sensor too.

I wash my hands often, so that shouldn't be as big of an issue

I'd recommend the Logitech G203 as it is inexpensive and a similar shape to a lot of office mice, it may be similar to your Dell mouse.

Might get both, to test which is better, tbh

I use a Zowie EC2A, I like it a lot. Its an ergonomic mid size shape been about 3 years and still working well. My hands are 7" wrist to middle finger tip. 3.25" palm.

Everybody seems to like the new Glorious mouse. I found it to be too light. I own an Ultralight Sunset by Final Mouse and that's close to the same weight. It's the lightest I've used. If you like a light weight (68g) mouse, check it out.
I prefer a mouse with moderate weight of at lest 86 to 98 grams. I have excellent control at that weight. Been using a Cougar Revenge 'S' and the Death Adler. But the Logitech G 102 (89g) is a good budget job.

I prefer smaller/shorter mice. I like my Logitech G Pro (wired version). And the even more minimalistic Zowie FK I used before was ok too. However, I missed not having a driver for it, a bit limited on the dpi settings only available in hardware and in big steps. That was the original FK (before FK1 or 2), so maybe it's better with more recent models.

I have the Logitech G900 & MX Master, but i'm always using the MX Master with two extra receiver. The ability to control other PC without looking for another mouse is a bonus & it's fast enough for my needs, including gaming.

A lot of good mice, here. I might pick up that Logitech G203 Vario mentioned. It's twin version, the G102 is currently on sale in the U.S. so I'll put down some coin on that. It's always a good idea to have a few extra mice around the table.

I heard a lot of good noise about Zowie. Some Zowie mice are rumored to better equal to some of the best Steel Series and Razer models. I gotta check them out.
I've used some recommended mice that were really good only for a short time then became utility mice or hit the wall. Lol. Most were older Logitech gaming mice that had cheap switches. Cooler Master, Gigabyte and Cougar had cheap plastic left and right buttons over Omron switches. The plastic would develop fatigue and get flimsy. Actually became sorta mushy, defeating the purpose of having a great switch.
I love playing multiplayer Doom 4, CoD (all), Battlefield (all), Killing Floor 2 and using a good mouse is important in those games. Most multiplayer guys have good mice. On a good day I may come out twice as top dog. Some guys are really better and of course, you have cheaters.
Being able to adjust the dpi and polling rate is helpful, too. There's a lot of high end computer users and cheaters in those games and just getting a fraction of a second jump is a big plus.

I've been using a first-generation Logitech MX Master for about 3-4 years now and I absolutely love it. It's not a "gaming mouse", but it works well enough for that (I believe it has a 1600 DPI sensor). It's great for photo and video editing, which I do a decent amount of. It's comfortable and has a few configurable buttons.

One of my friends uses a G305. He swears by it. He's beaten me enough times in our game clan so I don't doubt his game experience. Though I prefer wired, for a wireless he says it's the best he's ever used.
