Is my GPU starting to die?

The last few days my GPU has been throwing out artifacts/texture glitches in Diablo 3.

Here's a picture, it's not just the ground though, it's on other textures too.

A restart of the game fixes it but it always comes back. Haven't started experiencing it in other games yet. But it's got me worried.

That being said, it appears confined to the New Tristram town for now. So maybe it's a corrupted file.

Has my 980ti begun to throw in the towel? It's had a good run, about 3 years.

Yeah I thought so, just wanted other opinions as I've never suffered a GPU failure before, so I have no baseline to go off of.

when is the last time do you clean your GPU?

Might be a corrupted file on the map, but not sure as I don't play D3, maybe do a game verification or repair install?

A 56% GPU load brings around 65 degrees Celsius of temperature. I cleaned my PC a few months ago. It really doesn't need cleaning often as the filter on the front is excellent.

Yeah I ran a scan and repair. The problem is it doesn't tell you if there was a bad file or not. Doesn't output a text file either.

if restart fix the problem, actually not sign like dying card more like from apps
try lowering the resolution and disable any AA or AF then test it again
