Just to clarify, you start nvcleanstall, select the first option (best driver), it downloads the driver, then it shows two buttons "install" / "show in folder". you cant click either of those?

I figured it out, it was an issue on my end, apologies. It did work for the driver itself, but not for Physx for some reason I still had to install that one manually direct from Nvidia. Latest Win 10, and gtx 1070 laptop, clean install of OS.

Hey it's working fine now though so all is well ^^

I used this to update the last two versions of my GTX 1660 Ti DCH Driver (only) and it worked perfectly both times.

Bitdefender started screwing up the installation as it identifies the workings in the temp folders and so on as suspicious activities. Had to deactivate Bitdefender for installation, other than that everything worked fine.

Does Bitdefender silently cause issues or do you get some kind of notification?

It pops up and says it's found suspicious activity and that it's cleaning up and putting stuff in quarantine.
It leaves the NVCleanstall.exe file alone where it is, but the downloaded driver files and stuff happening in the background after download is what it's stopping

When i installing a new card into the system, i have a generic display adapter, i launch cleanstall, i cant select manually from droplist anything, just use the browse local files option.
My old laptop with gt330m, recognize it, driver version too, but doesnt offer anything. With some prevous build there was in the droplist.
Other pc with 760ti manual select from dropdown list doesnt work either.
So my main issue is 'install best' and 'manual select' dont work for me. Regular drivers not dch, on win7 (laptop) and win 8.1 on desktops.

Updated build in first post with new features:

- Drag installer exe (or unpacked setup.exe) onto NVCleanstall and it will pre-populate the "on disk" option and select it
- Added selectable options for "Disable Installer Telemetry & Advertising", "Unattended Express Installation", "Perform a Clean Installation"

Nvidia GeForce 436.48 WHQL driver: drag and drop installer on NVCleanstall.exe= worked fine.
New options "Disable Installer Telemetry & Advertising", "Perform a Clean Installation" worked fine, they setup Nvidia setup config for you, but the window to checkmark those options only shows for X time while it unpacks the driver, so it then switches to the install driver page. You have limited time unless I am missing something.

That's correct.

I could put the tweaks on the "finished" page, or add a separate page, or require a "next" when the download/unpacking is completed.
Not sure if either option is worth it

I just used it for Driver 436.48 (Driver Only, Unattended Express Install and Installer Ads/Telemetry disabled) and it worked perfectly. :D

what about putting them on the same page as the breakdown of all modules (like maybe top right corner), but not sure what happens with Unattended Express Install, if you would see it.
As I always choose what modules I want.

It is not a big deal, I just saw the progress bar and was going to wait before checking off options, should be fine either way.
