QUAD RAM KIT : Can I place 2 sticks in one system and 2 in another?

A colleague of mine is selling his older TR platform which carries a DDR4 quad ram kit

He's offered these sticks to me on a dirty cheapie for £80 and says these will work perfectly fine if I drop 2 sticks in one machine and 2 in another. Will this work fine?

Quad Channel memory means all four sticks were picked to work with eachother.
Doesn't matter how you use them, they will work fine (Single/Dual/Triple/Quad).

Apologies for the late "thanks". Read the replies and had these purchased for around £72 (a bundled price with a couple of other parts)

Hope these overclock nicely for Ryzen 2nd GEN

Thats an ok price for middle of teh road 16GB kit now prices have dropped, it's a damn good price for 32GB, so you snagged a bargain there, shoot for 3000mhz to start and see how they fare from there, increase frequency/lower timings from then and see what you can get out of them. If you can get 3000 w/CL15< at <1.45v that would be a good base point, 3200/CL 14 would be ideal at anything up to 1.45v
