MSI b450 Pro Vdh Plus
MEMORY CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 16GB (2X8) DDR4 3000MHZ, CMK16GX4M2D3000C16
Ryzen 5 3600

Do these parts have any compatibility problems? Will this work?

Another possible memory I could get is:
TEAM GROUP T-FORCE DELTA II 16GB (2X8) DDR4 3000MHZ RGB, TF3D416G300HC16CDC01

Tnks!

Is that memory apart of that motherboard's memory qvl list?

Go to msi website look up the specific motherboard, go to the support page

Corsair RAM can be a hit or miss with Ryzen, and the last dual channel kit of TEAM GROUP I bought wasn't running as fast as it should have (bandwidth was way below what it should been.) Maybe you will have a better experience than I did since your considering the T-FORCE DELTA II. I had the T-Force Vulcan 8 GB (2x 4 GB) DDR4 3000.

Patriot viper 2x8 (16Gb) kit rated at 2666 from Amazon, it's cheap ,works well with ryzen and has a compatible xmp 2 profile that works at 3000, im happy with the set i got.
And they specifically state amd support on the package.
All else is fine.

I would look at 3600 sticks if possible. You want that memory speed for sure. 3000Mhz with nice tight timings might be ok, but still a loss on performance.

Only pro ones, most corsair have problems on amd.

I know. Have a set of Hynix.

Get into the issue where I forget most people here just look to set it and forget it.
My samsung g.skill is running 3600mhz on Zen+, Zen 2 has a better IMC. Should be less of an issue.

About motherboard, check if seller is giving updated bios cause this board was meant to use ryzen 2000 series, and with new bios it will work with ryzen 3000 series.
And this motherboard has to low bios memory to support full MSI bios and You will get gse light version.

CPU and mobo should be fine, but make sure it has current bios from the factory. Otherwise you will need an old AMD CPU just to update your the motherboard.
Abput the RAM:I would pick a Gskill RAM kit for this.
Personally I use two of these:
G.SKILL 32GB Aegis DDR4 3000MHz CL16 KIT F4-3000C16D-32GISB
I need the big RAM capacity over speed as of now.
