I would like to confirm World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. Today a friend, attending BlizzCon, was able to inform me that Blizzard is in fact planning on releasing the rumored new expansion. Apparently, the new level cap for the expansion will be level 80 and will be located in Northrend. There is a playable demo of the game at the convention, players were able to transfer their characters to the demo server in order to experience some of the new content. The release however, is reported to be sometime next year.

A playable demo of Starcraft II is also making an appearance at the convention with players being able to try their hands at the Terran and Protoss sides.

My friend is currently taking pictures of the convention, and as they become available I will try to upload any relevant images of either Starcraft II or the new World of Warcraft expansion.

I wish it was me. I would love to get a handle on SC2. However, I did at one time play WoW, but have lost interest in it. I never did get a character to 70, and I doubt another expansion will re-invigorate my desire to play.

omg it was so awesome
i happen to have gone too, i played sc2 and wrath of the lich king, although i didnt get to do much in northrend lawl.
oh and i have my version of the shaky cam movie that they used to introduce the new WoW.
lol just realized they put the movie up on the new expansion website, but i've got some pics too

i'm looking so much more forward to SC2 than WoW 3 that its just rediculous... and thats as a level 63 druid. :x i kinda wanted to experience endgame content... like... eventually... *sigh*
also, blizzard needs to do something about all the dead hulks of old endgame content that litter the world. With a level 80 cap, all the level 60 stuff will be even more obsolete; additionally, it'll render outland virtually useless, making it the quickie to get to 68.
Also, hero class? Death Knight? How on earth do you make that playable for anybody who isnt the forsaken (or *maybe* a blood elf)?
