Depending on your bios you should be able to adjust bclk slew rate, set it to the highest one, that's it. Preview image attached. Noticed turning it from auto to max (tested a few times) gave instant increase of about 1gbps on ram read speed and .5ns drop in latency. Enjoy. You may have to do a power off boot for it to work right. Post your results if it works for you.

I may have been observing something different because now my speeds are contradictory/opposite to my earlier results...tested under more identical circumstances to be sure. Sad face, thought I was on to something there.

Subbed questions!

Does it have to be MSI??
Does it have to be only 3000 zen?
AIDA64 benches??

You're killin me here....

But it's ok. Should build off of that.

Try
Gear Down
Power Down
Both Disabled.
MemDrvStrength 40 ohm
can set all 4.
(If not better latency try different ohm)
Yes can make unstable system.

Other things you guys can try is un-parking your cores and run the system in performance mode. :toast:

Here's my results tightening the crap out of timings. Took some bios and aida screenshots to show what I'm running now (have bumped proc odt to 60 ohms). Earlier today it was higher latency and slower read speeds @ same 3600mhz, monkeying around with timings got it this far. Any higher than 1800fclk and I get audio noise (static/popping) when the cpu is heavily tasked, tried a lot of things to correct it including slew rate adjustment but it won't go away. @ 1800mhz it's fine even when cpu is running p95. My ram is Samsung b-die 4400mhz kit @ 1.35v

Can you bump FCLK to 1900mhz?

After much testing and prodding I have tracked down the culprit (trfc) and dropped it until it broke (windows booted at 240 but crashed quickly after starting p95), then increased slightly to get stability and get an average of 64.3ns refresh @ 3666mhz ram 1833mhz fclk down from the 65.8 I was getting.

Your results may differ. I use samsung b-die ram and found it can take much tighter refresh than micron or other ram.

Here are the timing ranges I tested and pics of my timings and voltages now (most of which from 1usmus ram calculator with a couple tweaks), bumping vpp over 2.6 seems to have helped.

TRFC1- 244-270
TRFC2- 140-160
TRFC4- 90-120

Forgot to mention these speeds are made possible by slight ram overvolt, my bios runs ram at ~1.47v, with 1.35v ram it wouldn't go lower than trfc1-260.
