hi guys, first excuse me for my english its not good,
here is the problem :
i bought a used gtx750ti from aliexpress 7 months ago.
it runs very well until the last week : the gpu fan run full speed at startup of windows or when wake up after sleep or standby and goes normal after 2 minutes but again randomly goes full speed every 5 minutes approximately.
i noticed that the temp is cool 24 degrees
when i play games and the gpu warm up and temp go to 40 or 45 there is no noise and the gpu fan run normal
what i did :
clean up the gpu from dust
uninstall drivers : after this with the basic drivers of windows 10, fan run normaly but after instaling latest drivers the problem apears again

can you help please and tell me what is the cause of this problem and thank you

default fan profiles are crap, use msi afterburner you can get it here

make a fan profile that looks like image below, click settings to open menu, setup general section as mine is if not using msi card, you can uncheck all monitoring options to decrease cpu load of msi afterburner

double click the link between dots to change from right angle to straight line between them, this will run fans when gpu goes above 40 degrees and turn them off below 40 degrees

click the 'user define' button on the right side of fan % to activate the custom profile

I have the XFX version and runs fine. It'll depend on the brand of the 750Ti. BIOS on the GPU can cause this issue

My previous Sapphire Nitro R9 390 w/backplate and current Palit GTX 1080 Game Rock did/does the similar thing - turning on the fans at PC start up. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that. In both cases fans spin to about 50% RPM and that's just for a brief moment, like 2-3 seconds.

You mentioned that GPU's fan spins at full speed for 2 minutes after startup or wake up and after certain time it reaches again full speed. This is a strange behavior. Either it needs proper cleaning, new thermal paste and new thermal pads or some software is causing the problems.
Why don't you install older drivers? Try this one (win 10 x64): https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/148865/en-us or maybe this one: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/geforce-417-35-whql-driver-download.html

thank you so much for your help
i did what you said but the minimum value of fan speed i can put is 22% i can't put 0% to turn them of below 40c of temperature as you can see in attachement file there is a yellow line in 22% speed fan
anyway when i put the fan over 30% of speed the spining is normal, except the starting of windows or exiting the sleep mode then the problem return but just for 20 secondes after that its ok
i have a question : as you said the problem is that default fan profile is crap, so is there any solution to reset it or flashing bios ?

Dont flash unless if the card maker gives you a bios. Flashing a random bios will brick your card

It's probably the reason why you bought a used GPU off Aliexpress. Cheap yes but reliable yes/no depend on the person/seller

On Aliexpress I look very carefully on the product I'm looking at or even ask questions before buying
