Best CPU cooler?

I was going to go watercooling, but screw paying $150. I've looked around and still can't decide which CPU cooler I should get... I'm not looking to pay more than $60 for one, but anything under that is fine if it works well...

go with what he said if your on a budget, but you should lap it too with some of the $$ you save buy cloth sandpaper.

I really like the ASUS Silent Knight. I lapped that sucker and put it on and it works great, IMO. It is pretty big, though, but it looks real nice and it's all copper.

id go with a Thermalright 120 ultra and a sycthe sflex 120mm 1600rpm if you want somthing you can sit next to with out ear plugs as the fm121 is supposed to be quite whiney when its at full speed.

the arctic freezer 7 pro is a steal for £13 tho, not sure how much they are in the states.

although i interested to see how the direct contact heat pipes do against the others mentioned.

what about the new thermalright fireman? or whatever they labeled it.. its due out very shortly if not out now. forget the exact name of it but its also called the fireman lol it was posted on tpu not to long ago.. its like an ultra but there is 2 seprate fin areas and you can mount a 120mm fan to each :O

there was a review, but they couldn't fit heatsink that supposed to be on the back of the mobo
so no use to even look at that review, but it performed well even without that second heatsink
