More 'Cool' reviews?

Any review no doubt takes a lot of effort to write up...

It would be nice at the end of every month or every two months where TPU has a review of a random CPU cooler or two from aliexpress - Just something cheap and cheerful. Because there are so many of them that perform really well for very little money.

For instance - the Sharkhan CPU cooler for $30

a Snowman T4 is only $14.92 apart from some small cosmetic differences and a different fan - its basically the same cooler.

This would really broaden the horizons especially from a budget standpoint. There are people who trawl Aliexpress for wildcard coolers such as these ones.

Gotta say that Snowman looks pretty good for $15 and considering the source.

Something smells fishy to me about 89CFM at only 22dB(A).... I'm guessing the specs were sort of made up for that snowman cooler.

Would possibly be tough to gain access to these coolers too, they tend not to reach out to reviewers. On the flip side, its like $15, grab one and throw a member review together?!?!?!

Not saying there is anything wrong with the request in general, just throwing my 2 cents into the thread.

That Snowman is pretty good for such price,better than any of the stock AMD coolers 'even Prism'.
He also has a comparison vid vs the 6 heatpipe model.

But 2 cents is about all I would risk betting on most stuff from over there........

It looks foreign. TPU shouldn't be reviewing malware filled chunks of aluminum.

Thats just the one merchant though. THere are others selling the same product that might ship to the US. Worst case scenario is either a user review or purchase by proxy.

it really is 16,5+$7, not cheap at all. Most of those things may look cheap.
why not just review everything under the sun and distribute the cost minus the resale value.

looks good, and interesting how bout reviewing something that medium to low, not only the high end
some may say medium to low is suck, but some has better price/performance ratio

You may also expect that anything cheap and cheerful, this is made by worst quality of alloy and by recycled scrap metal.
While cheap coolers it might help Chinese economy by not importing quality from Taiwan, to us the buyers with specific expectations, these coolers they will simply fail to deliver.
Some have the problematic habit to get the cheapest garbage and then pay more at trying to improve it performance.
I am not one of them.

Reviewing takes a lot of work, as does making videos, I recently participated in a YouTube collaboration and a job that would normally take 2.5 days took 5 days due to filming, retakes, adding audio.

Few people have the drive to do it and keep the quality up.
