You talk about nintendo like that, until you dont try them, nintendo has the best exclusive forever, they're on another planet where sony and microsoft are, the point of their games is gameplay, not graphics. If on PC you have a lot of games to play and you choose what to play, on console the games is limited and you will get like forced playing some games, that sincerely most of them for the gameplay experience suck a lot games on PS/Xbox they're like movie I like playing not watching a movie, on switch they have a direct point of make games, and they do them good. I dont like most of console exclusives even from ps3 and xbox 360 where people claim as best console ever, at that time I was sticking with my Gamecube and my PS1 and my PC, never had necessary to buy a ps3 or xbox360, simple cause I didnt like their exclusives, Gamecube is fairly superior.
On portable the game experience is way different, I can play TW3/Dark Souls on the go or from my bed/bathroom and I enjoy that a lot even better than from my pc at max settings, on my pc I play nearly only fps multiplayer games or Sim like Project Cars, cause every other game annoye me... On my switch I play a lot of single player games and they dont annoye me.
Also the Switch is the best for playing with friends we played a lot on mario kart and CRT on 4 players mode, If I had to set up that on my pc that would had taken hours, Its just simple and plug and play, thats why I like that.
I didnt liked and never buyed nintendo Wii or WiiU but the best console from the last two decade for me are Gamecube and Switch, I really enjoy their game on this compared tho wii games, switch is definitely superior for quality of games to wii : Smash Bros, Odyssey, Pokèmon, Luigi's Mansion, Zelda and recently Im playing their japanese things like Astral Chain and Daemon X Machina theyre all nice game! There emulators on pc and now in 2020 If you got a good pc you can play some of this games at 15/20fps using a 9900k and 2080ti, but you lose the easy of what the switch have, you just take in hand and play, no things to do, nothing.. same for dock, you plug that on the dock and youre ready to play. And thats why I bought that, I had to say that If I wasnt able to play on portable I would not had buyied this console but had stick with my dolphin emulator for smash bros melee
And on the Switch Lite I didnt like the fact you cant use that on TV, thats a shame, why not just make a dock for the lite too? Some friend got in my hand a Lite and if feel very confortable in size, nice console, but I'd stick with my old first gen switch and keeping the dock-able feature, also you can't mod that for now, and till now for me is pass.
