Humble Bundle, a company that combines a lot of games into a bundle, and then sells them at a much lower price than their combines value is, is now creating a Fire Relief Bundle. The Fire Relief Bundle is a game bundle that has a goal of supporting charity, specifically, it aims to aid the country of Australia, whose lands have been devastated by fires lately. For one time purchase of 25 or more, depending on if you want to donate more, Humble Bundle will donate 100% of the funds to Australia and help them recover from the terrible fires. In return, you will get 27 game titles that are worth $400+ combined. Among some of the titles are games like Feather, Satelite Reign, Hollow Knight, Armello, and Euro Truck Simulator 2 with the Australian Paint Jobs pack. You can check out the complete bundle here.

When I saw this this morning it almost brought a tear to my eye. It is truly frightening not only what is happening right now but also the scope of the aftermath of rebuilding. I have told 5 of my friends that game about this.

meanwhile the prime minister of australia is burning and selling coal ...
Let me guess... it's caused by climate change? 190+ charged arsonists (plus however many haven't been found/charged yet) in NSW alone would disagree with you there; fires don't light themselves, bush doesn't spontaneously combust, and dry lightning has contributed almost nothing to the destruction.

It would help if the bush wasn't so dry, was his point.

Yes arson gonna arson though, we had the same problem in SoCal in the 90s but global warming has only made it 10 times worse.

What are you talking about? My point is that people are lighting fires, and it appears that the media has brainwashed a lot of people into jumping up and down as if policy is the cause of it all. I challenge people to live by the same expectations they place on others, and in the overwhelming majority of cases, they don't (and can't) because hypocrisy and talking from your ass is easy.

Although I don't game at all, I will buy several of these bundles, just because it is the right thing to do... and will give a few of them to my younger nieces & nephews for fun...

I seriously hope that all or most of the money actually makes it to those who need it, and that 95% of it isn't wasted on "administrative costs" like so many other charitable contributions nowadays..

Do you seriously wanna go on conspiracy theories here? Because it is conspiracy tinfoil theory, that all those fires were started by people, not climate changing and making it easier and easier to start naturally.

Thanks for helping. the last 24 hours has seen the heaviest rain and hail for years, now large parts of the country are flooded, but at least the fires are out.

Btw most of the fires were started by dry lightning and power lines, and accidents. The bush is very dry, most of the country has been in drought for several years. These fires are deadly and impossible to stop. Its like a firestorm, and they travel fast, they jump across firebreaks and roads with ease. They are the worst fires in my lifetime.
Im not a lefty climate change person, but these fires are deadly and worse than anybody has seen before.

Let me guess... it's caused by climate change? 190+ charged arsonists (plus however many haven't been found/charged yet) in NSW alone would disagree with you there...

This is just utterly careless, yet intentional misuse of statistics used by News Corp in an anti-climate change push. Reading into an article with a title insinuating that a large number of bushfires were lit by arsons, you will actually learn that the statistics used were the count of arsons arrested over the three states of Victoria, NSW and Queensland during the entire year of 2019. Most of the arrests were in regards to illegal fireworks, incorrect disposal of cigarettes, bin fires, etc. It saddens me that, in a time of crisis where people have died, 1000s of homes have been destroyed, possible a billion animals have perished (and few now may now be even closer extinction), that corporations like this are still trying to push their agendas. How can the 'journalists' live with themselves when they're knowingly misleading people ?

... fires don't light themselves, bush doesn't spontaneously combust, and dry lightning has contributed almost nothing to the destruction.

The truth is most, if not all, major fires still burning across Australia have been started by lightning. Now, this is not out of ordinary - fires are started every year over the summer when such storms form, but what is out of the ordinary is that these fires are burning landscapes that have never been able to burn in the past. These fires have been able to burn almost unhindered in areas such as the temperate rainforests of Gippsland, Victoria where natural fire breaks such as lush gullies and water lands would normally prevent or limit the devastation. Australia has been experiencing much hotter, drier conditions for longer than ever before. I would have to agree with the scientists when they say climate change is the cause. Extreme weather events are only going to become more common - I mean, take a look at this. Canberra, the nations capital, has been surrounded by bush fires for months, now it's been battered by a freak hailstorm in the middle of summer!

I thank all who have provided support, financial or otherwise!

Had a lot of the games already but grabbing the bundle was a no brainer regardless.

Pretty horrendous watching the news coverage, hope my small donation can help a bit.
