Need replacement USB port

So the USB3 port on my laptop (yes, there's only one, it's an older Toshiba) broke. The Vss contact broke off and I don't see any way of MacGyvering something so it has to be replaced. It's many years old, but it still works fine for what I do with it. Used motherboards on ebay - even parts boards - go for far more than I'm interested in spending on it. I have tried to find a replacement port but nothing I've found is of the right design to fit the board. They're all either offset mounting (port ends up lower than the board), which won't work, or they are the right design and size but they have the 5 pins at the back. I found a Lotes catalog and found what I think is the correct part number (ABA-USB-124-P01), but get no results on search... Anyone have any suggestions?

The pics are of the port I need... Detached the board... So yeah I can solder lol. The problem is I can't find a replacement part.

That brings up the right size but they all have the 5 pins at the back. The one I need has 4 pins on the outside, 5 on the inside...

Got a chuckle out of the fact that it's a real company name.. but that's a 13 pin. I think the one Candot linked is possibly the one I need, just have to check the measurements of the one I have. Thanks though!

If there are electrical supply stores in your neighborhood that would be a good place to start. Otherwise Ebay or ALi Express may help you.

Thats literally the first thing I did. It turned up nothing except mexican real estate hits. The printed number is a date code, not a model number. And in the OP, I did say that I located it in the Lotes catalog, and there is no Google result for it.

If you have any USB Hubs laying around you could open them up and see if they have a matching port that can be robbed. If that happens to work remove it cleanly and the hub will still work fine with 1 less port than it had.

Well, it's a discontinued part, so yes, it's actually helpful, as it tells the OP that he/she isn't likely to find a like for like replacement easily. And knowing the manufacturer and model isn't helpful?

Actually it is normal for them to be so.

They are made once. Fill the hangar that is enough for years.

Well I live in the Toronto Area in Canada and there are 3 electrical supply stores near to me that have this kind of equipment. There are also plenty of Chinese malls in the Toronto area that have shops that have these types of parts for sale.
