Take it for what it is, a budget laptop.

Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Vega-HDM...MOTILE-Spatial-Performance-Audio-HD/575094633

Second generation mobile Ryzen 3, FHD display, SSD and RAM is upgradeable.

One buyer gave it 1 star for 4 GB RAM, as if the specs weren't clear enough. Edit: He didn't own it.. "Sorry, I don't own this but everything on the laptop except for the memory is good. "
Another did the same for the keyboard light that goes out after 10 seconds, just like on my $1600 Elitebook.. (yeah I can change it)

If you want to go really budget for one reason or another, it seems like a great deal tho.
In the end there are loads of laptop models for twice the price that are worse.

Review (better specifications):

I found it here:

That looks really good. Do you know what panel is inside beyond 1080p? TN/IPS? Surely TN...

Possibly budget IPS, if the same as in the reviewed model, see link.
Not surprising as this is not a $200 model, it started at 5-600 or so.

Is this the thing that Walmart been trying to sell since 2018 ? Linus did a video on it, which overall did not seem worth while.

Edit: Here's the video

I may actually try to get one of these for my Daughter. They seem perfect for a 4 year old.

Link?
I personally trust notebookcheck more than Linus. Sometimes it seems like he acts like he doesn't understand the concept of budget on purpose, just to produce clicks and laughs.

Walmarts desktop gamings machines were proper crap tho, IIRC.

Edit: Here's the video
That's not even close to the same model.

Here's another review.
I wouldn't touch this for $400 tho.

Cons:
You can't run dual channel and dual SSD's at the same time. Not really a problem on a budget laptop.
Windows 10 is not activated out of the box, but will activate with internet connection. No bloatware tho.

Edit: Are there really two RAM slots? I've seen the video but I can't see the second slot, only pins/tracing for the first, and I see no tabs for securing the second module..

If like the one Linus did a review on it's single. It's alright but i would trust another manufacture before trusting a walmart laptop which can just remove from the market as they please.

I expect their is a 4GB stick in them so they can legally say the ram is upgradable hehe.

Did you check how well they support it ?, just saying in case you have the idea of asking some one from the US to get one for you :p. Walmart need to be careful as well as online prices are not the same in store, i remember ordering some thing online and to pick it up and they tried to charge me more for the item. Then there is the good ol one were they only have 3 at that price ha.

I went though 8 TV's before finding one that did what it claimed.

Yeah single channel, unless half is soldered which I doubt. The thing is, soldered and soldered + slot is VERY common now, from all the big brands and all the way beyond $1500.
It does have its shortcomings, but none of them are unique for this brand.

The battery test in the first review shows that it's better than average, >7 hours surfing. And yes, notebookcheck does the most realistic battery tests I've seen, it matches light office work/web browsing pretty good. Nobody is interested in how many hours it can just sit there doing nothing in idle.

Nope, I won't bother with buying from over there.
But, this is a nice alternative to second hand laptops, or new crappy Atom/Celeron N/J models.
