Is there any way to flash a MSI RX 570 8GB from DOS?

Hi All,

Just trying to wrap my head around this. I have a RX 570 which I have somehow messed up to the the point that it doesn't even allow for a clean windows install (during the install I get these 6 parallel lines on either side of the windows logo and hard crash). I installed a bios from Techpowerup and it worked for a short time but now I am wondering if I damaged it.

I am trying to re-install the bios from DOS (Command). Does anyone know if this can be done? I know the latest version of ATI Flash is 4.17, but I am getting mixed responses if it is too new to be flashed from DOS.

Any help will be super appreciated... I am kind of at my wits end... and sad that I messed up an otherwise working card.

Neil

Thanks so much Regeneration - will this work with my "newer" RX 570?
That tool comes in uefi shell, windows gui or command prompt. Have you tried safe mode?

Ok, I am getting there! ... got to the Shell by Wizzard :)

Now... wondering - what is the VBIOS Flashing Syntax: ie... AMDvbflash [options] TV341MH.ROM

What option should I use?

amdvbflash -i to see the adapter number (usually 0)
amdvbflash -f -p "adapter number" "filename.rom"
