Hi,
I know that there isn't that much difference between push / pull fan configuration, but I was wondering about a pull setup with the grill cutouts as in the below?
The case is a Thermaltake View 71 and the radiator is an Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper 420mm Radiator V.2, fans are Noctua NF-14 Industrial PPC 2000 PWM

Reason is that I'm hoping to fit an EK-RES X3 - TUBE 400 to the EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE 200 D5 PWM D-RGB - Plexi and increase the reservoir accordingly, but obviously do not wish to choke off the fans by doing so and the only way this can be done with the largest reservoir is to fit the fans on top. The Case manual shows the fans on top so should be okay but I thought I would ask for your informed opinions.

Thanks

(Know the fan is wrong way round for pull, it was just to show it)

My opinion is you answered your own question.

Then I amended the question
the only way this can be done with the largest reservoir is to fit the fans on top.

I can fit a smaller reservoir and not have this potential problem, that is not the question. The question is - how much would that fan grill pattern of cut-outs choke the fans?
