LOTRO is a much better game, I've played both. If your an elder WoW player, you'll loose interest in LOTRO quick!

LOTRO is much more developed game while Vanguard feels like some kid made it and he is still working on it, lol
go for lotro, don't waist your time on Vanguard, but that is my opinion...

I've played both and can confidently tell you that choosing Vanguard would be a terrible decision, no matter how many skills you have..
