Hello,

I have a Rx 5700 from Asus, I'm interested in Bios Flashing into a 5700xt but apparently all the 5700xt from Asus are made with 3 Fans and are kind different from the 5700 Evo. Which can be the perfect match to Bios Flash my GPU?

My GPU: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/215975/asus-rx5700-8192-190731 ; https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Overclocked-DisplayPort-Graphics-DUAL-RX5700-O8G-EVO/dp/B07WRMT3BH

Options:
1. Asus RX 5700 XT (Reference): https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/212714/asus-rx5700xt-8192-190616-4
2. Asus RX 5700 XT TUF Gaming: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/222186/asus-rx5700xt-8192-200116-1
3. Asus RX 5700 XT Strix OC: https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/218394/asus-rx5700xt-8192-200210

Thank you.

You do understand that if the BIOS you choose does not work with your card, there is a possibility of bricking the card? That if this should happen, un-bricking the card is not a trivial process? And that if you send the card back for RMA and ASUS sees you've flashed the BIOS, they will likely deny the RMA? Why, exactly do you want to flash an XT BIOS to this card - what benefits do you expect it will give you?

If you are sure you want to go ahead then: neither the reference nor the TUF support fan stop, which your card and the Strix do, so I'd say if you're going to do this, use the Strix BIOS.

If you do try this, please let us know the outcome.

There's so many people talking about the huge extra performance that you get just flashing your bios... That's why I'm interested in this.

The fan layout isn't a big deal. Probably all 3 fans use the same 4-pin connector.

You need similar memory chips, display outputs and PCIe power configuration.

Hello,

I also would be very happy if someone could share his / her Asus RX5700XT EVO bios.

I would try to mutate my actual 5700 EVO.

Thanks in advance!

Reference Bios should be the same and can be found with a search through the VGA database on this site.

Thanks.
I´ll check the file a little bit more in detail and decide if I try it.
Will upload this post if I succeed.

Update:
The flash was successful.
Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately I almost did not have time to play during these days.
I only had some time to play a run of Escape from Tarkov and, to be honest, I did not notice any difference. EFT is also not the best game to compare the performance, because the FPS changes each day depending on servers, patches, etc.

I just ran the Shadow of Tomb Raider Benchmar (1920x1080)
Stupid, but I do not find the screenshot from the same benchmark with the old bios, but I think that this result is the usual score for a 5700?
The 5700XT should be above this.

Where I can see a significant improvement is with the Superposition Benchmark.
With the 5700 bios I reached a score 14625 points.
With this bios I get a score 16039 points.

I also have to add, that I haven´t done a clean install of drivers. I am just using the same ones.
I do not know if this will make any difference at all.

I would also like to add one important thing.
When I bought the card I had problems with random restarts while playing.
I was able to solve the problem by downloading a bios update from Asus.
I haven´t played enough to know if this issue will appear again.
