I was investigating how to overclock my laptop and I found a person who managed to overclock this cpu - ( https: //valid.x86.fr/dfbzr3 ) but when investigating how to do it I found absolutely no information and I would like to know how is that it is done and if I could just do it I know that the bclk was overclocked if someone could explain to me how it is done I would be very grateful

99% of laptop processors can not be overclocked, you can undervolt it to run a higher clock without thermal throttling.
Sometimes you can modify the processor to force it to run a higher speeds but that requires modding the motherboard but run the risk of forking up everything.

So that means it is not worth the risk, but if you wanted to try it, how could you do it? I use google translator, in case of inconsistency in the text

@Poofreadimp - The top 10 4500U CPUs listed at HWBot are all using the same default 99.7 MHz BCLK. None of them are using BCLK overclocking. The CPU-Z validation you found may not be legit.

so if it can't be done through the bus do you think i can force the 2 cores of my cpu to be at 3 ghz both? because the cpu slows down a lot with multitasking for example word and edge and even the cursor and not to mention games sometimes practically I am left without sound

its probably threw a modded bios. the tools to mod the bios for the particular laptop model in that cpuz validation are available. ive had luck overclocking oems by modding the bios but its a pita and requires a programmer. so its actually possible that the validation is legit. i dout that its any stable tho.

okay then it depends on the motherboard if it allows to install the bios mod
