Hello
I have an rx570 nitro+ 4gb card which was working great till 2 days ago. Now the system
when the system boot up I get a black screen. The card was flashed 1 year ago cause its used for mining and it was working perfectly. At the device manager i get Microsoft basic display adapter with the yellow triangle.
At the properties I get the following message:
This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
The driver trying to start is not the same as the driver for the POSTed display adapter.
I tried to reflash the bios of the card but i get the following error "Error reading from rom"
Drivers can't be installed, fans are working.
I would appreciate your help

Wow - looks like something is really wrong with the card itself I mean if BIOS flasher can't even read the ROM... Perhaps try reading the ROM or flashing from a simple DOS boot (USB key with ATI DOS flash) or Hiren's BOOT CD, the old version - WinXP (15.2) and see what atiflash says there.

Do you have another gpu /igp you can use to boot into windows with with the 570 still installed?
Do you have dual bios? Does the other bios work?
Use atiflash cmd and use the -f cmd to force flash it if you're sure the rom you're trying to flash is the correct one for your card.

Other than that, you said the card was used for mining and had a mining bios on it for a time, these include tighter vram timings and over time it could have damaged the vram chips /gpu to the point of it no longer working now.

If the driver has changed, by updating itself, the obvious solution would be to revert back to the previous driver.
Code 31 only indicates an issue trying to start or install a driver, not a hardware or Bios issue with the GPU.

The problem is that when I try to reinstal the drivers windows says that the best driver is Microsoft basic display adapter and doesbt let me do anything

If the Rom can't be read, have a look through the following thread I linked and try the paper clip trick on the Bios chip.
