I'm a little surprised there was a cve and patch since April 2019 that CISA knew existed and was being actively exploited on Federal agencies and did not force patching and credential updates...

Haha, and here I *just* used the phrase "close enough for government work." Which, IME, usually means it's sloppy and if people saw it they'd say that it's pretty questionable, but it works well enough that people won't notice otherwise... so long as it keeps working, anyway. "...You're going to leave it like THAT?!" "C'mon, it's working fine... close enough for government work!"

Interestingly enough, that phrase used to mean the total opposite. Only the most stringent standards were good enough for the US government. But I think it probably hasn't meant that for around 80 years now. :laugh:
