My plan is doing a bit overlock. Also in my country we can't use Evga Step Up thing. Which RTX 3080 has the best performance, oc potential and cooling?
I think FTW3 Ultra is better holding the clock speed than strix OC. And its RGB is great. But i don't know which one i should choose.

Also is 10 gb vram enough?

I personally would go with Asus but yeah, MSI tends to perform better. So for your overclocking & performance case, like xman2007 said, go for MSI X Trio.

There is already a discussion thread for 3080's VRAM usage here which you can follow up.

Where did you read a review?

There are reviews on youtube. Rog Strix OC is reducing its clock speed under 1800s and i don't know why. FTW3 more stable and it isn't reducing to 1800 mhz.

Rog Strix:

FTW3:

I don't know. Doesn't it use a cheap backplate?

But it has 350w power limit, ftw3 and rog strix has 450w power limit.

I don't know. Doesn't it use a cheap backplate?

MSI is marketing their backplate as being made of "graphene", which has amazing thermal properties, making it a great, but expensive choice for a backplate material. I tested this claim, and it turns out the backplate is actually plastic with coated graphite. While it transfers heat just fine, it's not nearly as efficient as graphene for that task. Making a graphene backplate on a consumer product would be too expensive anyway. In my opinion, this isn't a big deal as the backplate mostly serves to protect components and improve product looks—cooling is the job of the main heatsink, not the backplate. Generally, a backplate brings down temperatures by maybe a degree or two, nothing worth worrying about.

I'm not sure if it's cheap though doesn't seem to stack upto MSI's claim, that said, the most important bits regarding the backplate from TPU's review I have highlighted in bold

I just saw one video (Overclocker) quickly but didn't see the GPU clock under 1800s on load as you said.

I meant its reducing as you can see(Division 2). But check the FTW3 Ultra it stays as much as higher, pushes the limits. Also FTW3 Ultra has lower temps. I'm not fan of EVGA just look at this video..

Asus TUF for its quality capacitors and great cooling

But it has only 375w limit. Also capacitors is not an issue if you use min 2 mlccs like fe edition.

Of the two cards you listed I would select the ROG Strix.
Both cards are on par with each other but mind share will mean an easier sale in the long term if you decide to upgrade in the future.
