Hi,

Will this kit allow me to install an old NH-D14 on Ryzen 5 3600?

It comes with a new NH-U12S.

Why don't you just ask Noctua for an AM4 mounting kit?

I did that with my NH-C14 cooler from ... 2011 ... and i'm currently using it with my 2600X: took roughly 1 week to arrive, and it cost me ZERO. All i had to do was take a picture of the cooler + either board or CPU with a paper with my full name, e-mail and date, and sent it to them via their AM4 mounting kit form. If you have the original invoice, that's even better (couldn't locate mine).

I sent proof of purchase 24 hours ago, but I have not been answered yet, so I used the AM4 kit that comes with the U12S. The only way to install the cooler is vertically (with the NM-AMB11).

I have ran Cinebench and my max temp reached 71 degrees. When I had the stock cooler on previously, I was hitting 90degrees. Does it sound ok?

R5 3600 - 4.3Ghz, 1.25V max

A 19º C improvement is quite good, IMO.

Benchmark Scores it sucks even more less now ;)
I'd shift that bottom fan to the top and make it pull/pull cause it looks like it's getting strangled for fresh air the way it is now with it so close to the rear of you GPU's back plate

A 3600 at 4.3ghz. You should be running a decent AIO (all in one) liquid cooling solution. Usually anything over about 67 or 68c temps will cause a Ryzen to start throttling down.
