With Intel, you had the desktop Broadwell chips like the 5675C and 5775C. They have the Iris Pro 6200, which is still quite a bit weaker than the Vega 11 graphics in the 3400G.

The 3400G is probably the best option for the time being. Who knows if Zen 3 or Zen 2 based APUs will be released.

only one thing for example Is 3400g still better than i5-10500 ?
Because i5-10500 or i5-10400 have 6 core , but 3400g have 4 core
or I must buy 3400g ?
So i don't know exactly can you please guide me more

If you're after CPU performance, the 10400 is probably slightly better, if you're after GPU performance, the 3400G is better.

Also consider the 3600, which is better than all of the previous CPUs, but lacks an integrated GPU.

For limitation budget I want order cpu that have integrated graphics
I most work with Adobe product like Photoshop and Adobe Premier and few 3d Software , So I don't know exactly which cpu is better
for example buy i5-10500 or i5-10400 or Buy 3400g
Please Do you have experience or know which one better for heavy Software rendering ?

Good luck getting any of the Broadwell desktop chips for a good deal. Last I remember they were $500+ for the i5.

The i5-10400, or i5-10500 are much faster CPUs than the 3400G, but their integrated graphics is awful.

If you're only using the PC for graphic design and video editing, you'd get far more performance from a 10400/10500. If you decide later you want/need GPU acceleration, you'd have a significantly faster CPU. I would still buy a 4650G, but the 3400G is two generations behind now and unlikely to be worth the compromise, for your usage.

I would recommend buying a 10400, its performance is definitely better for graphic design and video editing.

But that's a laptop CPU, you will have to buy a whole laptop for that but the OP is asking for only a CPU

I recommend a 3400g
Intel is just garbage in genral im my experience

10400 literally has 2 more cores than 3400g, I'm curious what you've experienced with Intel to say that they're garbage

You can get a 4650G from Ali Express. Apparently according to some Youtubers that is faster than the 1050 TI in some Games. Outside of that the 3400G is the only choice. Even though Vega 8 has less CUs than Vega 11 it is clocked about 300 MHZ faster.

If you define "sucks" as "slower than a dedicated card with expensive GDDR5" then every iGPU other thanthe new Apple thing sucks.

1050ti is faster than an RX 560 and a RX 560 features 896 Cores & GDDR5.

Let's see you do some actual processing on that gpu. Show us how many cores and threads it has. We'll wait.

3400G:
  • 4C/8T Zen+ CPU cores, antiquated, unimpressive and can conceivably hamstring the Vega 11
  • The Vega 11 GPU still arguably holds the crown over all other integrated Vegas in most games especially if you give it fast RAM and know how to OC it
  • Expect to run into a wall with the memory controller between 3200 and 3600, because Zen+
4650G: I have it, not below $200
  • 6C/12T Zen 2, considerably better CPU side
  • Only a Vega 7 GPU, is objectively inferior GPU-side to the Vega 11 even with fast RAM, but only a concern if and only if you're gaming a lot
  • Can exceed DDR4-4000 1:1 with minimal to no effort, I run mine at 4000 16-16-16 but mine can do 4133 with no extra work
4750G: similar deal just even more expensive
  • 8C/16T Zen 2 cores, best CPU side available in an APU today
  • Vega 8 can trade blows with Vega 11 if you give it fast RAM and know how to OC, but stock it'll find it hard to match Vega 11
  • Same as 4650G possibly better depending on your sample, would expect 4200+ from a good chip
10400[F]
  • 6C/12T Skylake, around the same as the 4650G on a good day
  • Absolutely terrible GPU, but doesn't matter if you're just doing office work and web browsing
  • Comet Lake memory controllers are good on 10700K/10900K, but I wouldn't expect 4500+ from a 10400, so probably similar to 4650G's capabilities
  • Also needs a Z490 board for any memory support faster than DDR4-2666, but doesn't matter for office use and fast RAM doesn't help its terrible iGPU
Take your pick. I honestly have a feeling that none of your workload actually demands a GPU that's faster than the 10400's.

I am actually thinking of getting the 4650G does it need a special BIOS to run on AM4?
