GIGABYTE is readying its premium GeForce RTX 3060 Ti offering, the RTX 3060 Ti AORUS Master. Characterized by a premium board design that has a meaty triple-slot, triple-fan cooling solution; plenty of RGB embellishments, and possibly the company's largest factory overclock to boot, this card's most striking feature has to be its display output setup, which includes three each of DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1 connectors. The cooler features two aluminium fin-stacks ventilated by a trio of fans that are arranged such that the fan in the middle is receded and overlapped by the other two fans. Among the other RTX 3060 Ti custom-design cards being readied by GIGABYTE are a Gaming OC Pro and Eagle OC.

I'm surprised there aren't any reviews of the 3080/3090 Aorus cards with their huge cooler yet, they've been out at least a month.

Does this mean you can plug in and use up to 6 displays simultaneously or are you still limited to 4 active devices?

Nice card but why did they expend all this engineering effort on a lowly 3060 card instead of the top of the line 3090's ??

3090 is such a marginal halo product that it's reasonable to have features like this on a consumer level card.

Probably not. Look at asus' 3080s that have one extra hdmi 2.1 output but are still limited to 4 (?) active displays.

Yeah, so this is the 3060ti that will cost almost as much as a reference 3070, lol. Never understood what's the point of these once you go to lower price brackets.

That cooler design is... really nice? I'm not sure why, but the interlaced fans look kind of awesome.

You cant use 6 ports at once the reason there are 6 is to give you the option for 3 HDMI plus one DP or 3 Displayport and one HDMI or an even mix of the two
Linus did an unboxing of the 3080 Master and he talked about the ports in that video but it was not a video from the Techtip channel

I can give an angle on this. Because sometimes the high display count user isn't using hard core 3D, but wants a quality card. ie, the money guy that bought 6 $$$ screens goes for the $400 card that's good enough. He doesn't want the top 3D card that runs hot / big wattage, but doesn't want trash either (some lowly ddr3 card with 6 outpus). Traders, programmers, users with information display needs. It's true that some theoretical 3040 with 6 outputs would also work just fine, but this is how the market works ... if the user bought 6 screens, they can afford the 3060 ...

Might be a nice card, but i'm not happy with this new trend, that everything is 3 slot and 3 fans monsters. Even these lower end cards. No love for itx builders.

ITX? These full length designs won't fit into 95% of the OEM boxes either, as they generally only allow 3/4 slot. All the new AMD cards I've seen are full length 3 fan designs as well, as are most of the 30x0 cards. I really think when they make these full length, they are intentionally limiting the potential market (significantly limiting it) in order to cover up their supply constraints.

Thats pretty much what my friend is doing with my Gigabyte Xtreme GTX 950.
Hes not much of a gamer or only light games rarely but he does work from home for years now and the extra outputs came in handy for him.
At least compared to the old HD 5xxx serie card he was using before.

No chance this could be a single slot card with a waterblock, unless modified and ports are removed.
